Star Wars: The Great War OOC

Right I have my Bio up, please let me know if anything is wrong or should be edited.

I'm not sure what pimpmar would say, but as for me, both your character Jag, and DK's, are good to go.

Wow, I've been slacking. Yes, yes, characters approved. Ic thread, gogogo!

I can post next pimpmar if you give me a list of worlds and such that we're attacking next.

Would it be realistic for Gavriel to show up on Tatooine yet and find that Ra isn't there and then follow him to <forgot the name now>?

Probably not. Varsus was already three hours away from Coruscant when he sensed the attack on Mykr, which is an event Gavriel sensed at the same time. So, it could be that by the time Gavriel was about to leave Coruscant's orbit to make the jump to Tatooine, Varsus was just coming out of hyperspace around Coruscant. So, it would probably make sense that Gav sense's Varsus' arrival, or it could be that Gav simply sucks at detecting presences in the Force.

I must sound stupid for asking, but must Gav be on Coruscant? OK it will make my writing easier, but I wanted him to follow Val and then when they catch up, ask him about the voices that called out through the Force

He could be on Ossus, the library planet. The Jedi had a strong presence there in the early years of the Republic, before the planet was overrun by Sith forces and essentially destroyed.

So arriving on Tatooine from Ossus would not be viable yet? Wait a few posts and then head to Corrusant?

Wouldn't know. I don't know where Ossus is in relation to Coruscant or Tatooine...although I could probably look it up.

You could always just do what Ra did and simply progress time, say maybe a day or two. That's something that hasn't really been covered in Star Wars mythos that much: the amount of time it takes to travel between star systems in hyperspace. Most people would assume probably a few hours to go from say Coruscant to Alderaan, but it would probably be more accurate to say a day or two. At least, when you try to inject real science into Sci-Fi, that's what my estimate would be.

As for Ossus to Tatooine...I wanna say Ossus is perhaps in the Mid Rim, so from there to Tatooine in the Outer Rim, I'd say travel time to be anywhere between a few days to a couple of weeks.

Hmmmmm so then it is just easier to let Gav be on Corus and feel that Val arrived

That is a distinct possibility.

It still doesn't change the fact that there are powers at work in the galaxy that are well beyond your paygrade.

Yes master that is why I am still struggling to learn patience and control over my anger

If you really want to test the limits of your patience, try working with Ewoks. However, I must point out that their existence isn't known to the galaxy until the Battle of Endor, a long f-ing time after this particular storyline.

Anyways, that's enough chit-chat for tonight. Proceed with whatever you have planned.

So, I know that I'm taking an extremely long time between posts (my job kicks the shit out of me), but everyone else is free to progress with whatever story-lines you wish to make. Keep this thread alive (the IC), and when my job gets less epic, I'll be much more active. Thanks for the patience.

So far I don't have a definite plan. Just waiting to see what way the Force moves and then pounce on a hapless Sith.

Hapless Sith? From my armies? Best of luck.

I joke, of course, every faction has their red-shirts. Cause too much of a ruckus though, and daddy Destinus might come for yah.
