I bumped into the owner of the shop across the street and asked if he knows of anybody would have a job for me. SO he stated that they want to start selling cellphone accessories and that I can do my cellphone repairs there AND handle his accessories sales and he will not ask me rent as long as I do his sales. So the repair money would come my way. If that can become reality I will be over the moon

I apologize for my absenteeism the last days. My occupation in RL is law enforcement, and it is of a type that seems to keep me away from anything resembling a PC, save for my iPhone, for extended periods.

I should be able to catch up and continue for the next several days, however.

I've taken the liberty of fabricating characters for play in the Jedi side of things, in order to provide continuity and such. If anyone would like to help out in that area, it would be very welcome.

Zydrate sent me a pm a few days ago, real life is kicking her butt right now and she's unable to keep up with posts for the moment. She said she'd be back, but she isn't sure when.

So, I was thinking of just sending her off on random mission X that she can come back from whenever she does have more time to write with us.

Bio: Born on Corellia, Arreyn was discovered by the Jedi through the required blood testing performed at his birth. Both of his parents were poor merchants, so they welcomed his ascension to a position with the Jedi. From a young age, he demonstrated exceptional talent with the living Force, and possessed a unique ability to learn any Force-skill simply by being present when it was used. He was a favorite of the Jedi Council until his adolescent years, after becoming a Padawan learner. He was repeatedly reprimanded for his interest in learning of the Sith and their skills.

During his hearing for expulsion from the order, he asked to make one statement, saying that the Jedi and Sith were two halves of the same whole, and only through knowledge of their power could the Sith be defeated. He then requested to be allowed to take the Jedi trials years earlier than was expected, and study the Sith arts. His remark moved the council in such a way that they granted his request with two conditions aimed at subduing what they perceived as arrogance. If he failed the trials, he would be expelled from the order and his ties to the force severed. If he passed, he would be bestowed the rank of Jedi Knight, but forbidden from ever attaining the rank of Master. Arreyn, undeterred by their conditions, passed the trials with flying colors, forcing the Council to uphold their bargain.

After demonstrating an unyielding resiliency to the temptations of the Dark side, Arreyn became the only Jedi to wield both a blue lightsaber and a red lightsaber. Unofficially, he was regarded as the premier Sith hunter, and with every encounter his knowledge of the Sith arts grew. Now as the galaxy was engulfed with the Jedi-Sith conflict, Arreyn awaited his next mission from the Jedi Council...

Didn't the Sith just start the invasion? Surely there's a first hope, or maybe some in between hopes before the Jedi pull out their "last" hope.

You can always wait for some twins to be born...

Well if you look at first hope, Gavriel will just need to find his link with The Force, he might lack the know-how, but a lot of power takes you a long way

The Sith didn't appear technically till 6,900 BBY... before that they were simply Dark Jedi, of Fallen Jedi... The Sith appeared at the end of the second great schism, aka The Hundred-Year Darkness. Wookieepedia me if you'd like, this is why I was fairly sure that pimpmar gave some creative freedom... he's not exactly following the god's verse having sith in 10,000 BBY, 3,100 years before the founding of the Sith Temples on Korriban :|

Ahh, I see. You're saying the Jedi council's last hope to rid the universe of the Sith lies with your character.

I thought you were talking about the last hope that the Jedi had to stop the current Sith invasion... which, if I'm not mistaken the Jedi only heard about yesterday (not literally, but almost)



So, just to be clear.

Jedi's first hope: Gavriel

Princess Leia's only hope: Obi Wan

Jedi's New Hope: Luke Skywalker

Jedi's "No, there is another" contingency plan in case the New Hope fails: Princess Leia

And finally, Jedi's Last Hope: Arreyn
