Closing the shop end of the month. I won't be able to find a job in two weeks so I'll have to go to work on the farm and that is why I will basically never be able to come back to Lit

Have you thought of trying to find a job outside of South Africa, probably in some place with Internet? I would think that there would be companies, possibly cell phone companies, who would like to hire someone who used to manage a cell phone shop.

Although, I do think it's a little ironic that someone in a Star Wars thread playing a Jedi is going from saving the world and fighting sith to being a farmer in the middle of nowhere.

You speak German?

I've never been to Europe, so I'm not sure how it compares to the U.S., but I'm pretty sure that even in the fubared state the U.S. is currently in, it's a damn sight better than South Africa. Although, Germany might not be a bad choice.

I said that I do speak a little bit of German, but that most people can speak and understand English in Germany.

Sigh.

You speak a hell of a lot more German than I do. I was only able to piece together that much because I correlated the written words to a few words and phrases that I've heard in movies. And I also recognized "Englisch" as "English." And I figured that if "Deutscher" is "German," then "Deutschland" is Germany.

Anyways, with any luck, you'll be able to find a decent job someplace with Internet access 24/7 fairly soon. Maybe not in the next two or three weeks, but ideally before the end of the year.
