If you are using Internet Explorer 6 you'll find it in the general tab of internet options (in the tools menu). There's a button there that says 'Delete files' then check off delete all offline content. It may take a few minutes depending on how much is in there.
Netscape has it too somewhere me thinks.
thank you. so it sounds like if i go into my temporary internet files folder and select all to delete, i should be throwing out the offline content too.
