Now come on people. The wonderful sites are everywhere, cept Milwaukee. I didn't like it there. But seriously, I took that first one outside my school on a boulevard for cryin out loud! I like that one and the three others that go with it (I didn't post those) the most.
You see grey? I switch to sepia. Grey looks good in sepia. Take a walk, smell the air, feel the energetic vibe that is life! It's all around you wherever you are.
My city is awful, but the beauty is there if you dig deep enough, just like where any of you live.
Ok, sorry about the preaching business. It will never happen again, I swear.
Muah! to all of you, and thank you for the compliments
Congrats on the big 10koh1 GW! I'm only a quarter of the way there... Dang that'll take my slow typing fingers forever to get there.
Your threads are not boring. I read them all the time and I get a good laugh thinging of your spunky nature. I can't help but be uplifted.
I did see some of Hong's pic threads. I think he's very talented with photography and the editing. I like photoshop, I just started playing around with it. Maybe that's how I'll design my web page, with lots of cool animation and manipulated pics.
how do i crop a picture from a digital camera? my scanner software crops just fine, but won't take input from other sources. or at least i don't know how to make it do that.
I actually like using Microsoft paint for that, also for resizing.
What I'll do is resize immediately, the pics I want to post, by selecting stretch/skew in the image tab and reducing the image by percentage. Pics off my cam are usually 1600x1200 which is way too big for posting or sharing. So I'll reduce the image by about 25%. Now the image is of workable size.
Paint has that cut box for copying. Select the area you want to keep, right click, select copy. Open a new sheet and resize it smaller than the image (otherwise you'll end up with a white border). Edit - paste. Save as something different.
I'm using Microsoft XP which has nifty auto scan software that will drag the pics off my cam automatically when I plug in the usb.
