Stormswept Heights OOC

three's a crowd

A stable boy, hehe? Very handy in case one of the ladies wants a ride. :p

Well, thanks to Darcy, Elsabeth and Wood are suffering from flora interruptus. maybe one of the Stormswept ladies will distract the boy so Wood can tend to her furrow.

I've got to go grade papers now so today's "yoot" can get edgycated and become the leaders of tomorrow. (sometimes it makes me shudder)

I'll see what I can do! ... later. I have to go to work in 5 minutes, but I might be able to log in for a while after I'm there.

lol...Wood will get plenty of chances for that...especially since he's agreed to give her a nice secluded piece of land for her own little garden and told her where she can find him. He'll have much more time come "morning" for Wood to try his hand at bedding the Baron's new daughter.

Oh! And I both respect and pity you the teaching job...total respect because I sure as hell couldn't do it and pity because you're surrounded by todays youth! At least you get summers off....I hope.

lol...I don't mind curve balls.

Shoppings a curve ball??? That is just fun. Course the Baron now has to decide how he feels about his new daughter being on a first name basis with a gardner she just met. ~sweet lil smile~

Just being subtle for the moment ;)

Yeah we will see how he handles that in a few mins.

tsk tsk, shame on him for trying to tell her that Wood is beneath her. If he was expecting a cute, pliant little thing (presumably to attempt to be a good influence on his own errant daughter) then he's in for a surprise.

He is just being the stubborn person he is suppose to be. He will see the error in his ways eventually. I dont think he was expecting a plaint girl she has been through a lot. Only trying to get a feel for what the girl is like.

obviously not too bright

I did just apply to teach summer school for six weeks. :nana:

Actually, I really do enjoy it. I have 150 7th graders. About 20 angels, 20 nimrods and varying degrees of just plain kids. They are in a state of becoming (exactly what...we have no idea  ) They return the favor: 10 percent love me, 10 percent hate me, and the rest tolerate me on a bell curve.

Oh, and I just can't wait till :"morning",lol.

I wonder what Darcy going to do when he finds out there is more to his sister then what she lets on. :)

OOC:

How about a tutor? Can get a bio ready fairly soon. I'm thinking a rather different character for this one (well, different for me).....a closet homosexual with some strong sadistic tendencies and an eye on a few of the manservants.

Its definately interesting and would be most welcome, though I'm not sure if we have any manservants for you to play with yet. :) There is always the hope of recruiting some!

Ah, yes....and the sexual tension created by a frustrated tutor would be interesting....some possible unrequited lust for some male characters might develop...

...should be interesting...

...and I was wrong....I did play a gay character once before....an occasional figure in the Juno thread....though he's a villain in that one....

Mr. Henry Rimston, Esq.

OOC:

Henry Rimston, 40 years old, accomplished headmaster of a private school until he was caught buggering not the students but their older brothers....trading sexual favors for admissions. That sort of thing. He resigned and is now seeking work as a tutor. Luckily, there is no proof of such claims, since he plans to not only teach and make money, but also seduce some young manservants. 18 to 20 year old boys were the best, tastiest, by far. But he'd take what he could get, as long as they were pretty. From a squire's family, he is the youngest son, the one who never inherited an estate and spent a few years in the army, before attending a couple of years of Oxford and then taking jobs as a schoolmaster. He naturally went where the men were....young, handsome men, of course. He'd been happy in the army, but was happier still where he faced less danger of exposure for his "sodomite" tendencies.

Just a short note to let everyone know that I may not post for a day or two. The illness that kept me home the other day has gotten worse and while I'll be checking in to keep up and read what's happening I just can't seem to kick start enough creativity to write. I'll be back as soon as I'm feeling better!

Well, bless ya

Take care of yourself and we shall be awaiting your return. Being a teacher, I'm usually good for two bad colds a year and I was knocked off my feet a few weeks ago, so you have my empathy.
