hello everyone,, I'm new to lit, but not to Rping. I have spoken with Victoria, and was asked to post a bio, so here goes

Name: Jacob Chires
age: 19
stock: welsh orphaned
Hair: reddish
eyes: startlingly blue
disposition: shy subservient exterior, welsh pride is well hidden through necessity of pleasing the family that supports him, and endoctronation by other English servants.
Orientation: Straight
Sexual experience: Minimal

Jacob(Jake) Chires is a welsh orphan, taken in and raised by the household. Standing just over 5'5" he is neither tall nor imposing. He is physically fit due to exercise and hard work, but not overly so. He is the manner's page/errand boy. He can both run messages to distant areas, and his light form is well suited to this persuit, or he can be put to work doing most anything, from serving as a stable hand, to serving the lord at table, to fetching the lord a mid night snack. He has a nack of appearing when he is needed, without being underfoot. To most people he seems shy and subservient, a role forced upon him due to his circumstances. He had to swallow his welsh pride, and play the role of a subservient young fellow, for the household was all he had. He spends his free time what time he has dreaming of being free to go where he wanted, just like a lord. He also greatly desires to be an archer, and has been secretly learning the skill, and does not know if it would be allowed if he came clean and asked, so decided it was better to just not ask.

please note, I cannot write in a welsh accent, nor do I know welsh myself, so one must assume he speaks with a slight welsh accent, and I will enclose words in welsh with brackets or some other form of punctuation to make sure everyone is clear what is not spoken in English, if that situation arises.

Thank you, Showdolly....I had a little Dom difficulty at first with the idea of being a servant, but then I figured what the hell and decided to make the most of it....now I'm glad that I did....seems like a fun thread.....

Name: Martha Weatherstaff

Age: 45

Appearance: A thin and shapeless woman, small breasted and of moderate height. Her hair was once a stunning light blonde, but it has darkened with age and is now intermingled with distinct streaks of gray. She wears her hair swept back severely into a large bun, but loosed from its confines it is actually quite lovely and falls down to the back of her knees. Her skin is tanned from time spent in the sun, and there are heavy laugh lines at the corner of her gray eyes. She always seems to have a smile, even in the most dour of situations.

Bio: Martha has been working in the heights for over twenty years, working her way up from a lowly scullery maid to her current position as head maid. It was well known that she had an affair with the Baron's married brother in her youth, and though the union did not result in a child, it was discovered and caused a scandalous divorce which disinherited the elder brother Martyn from the barony. Because of the disgrace she was nearly turned out from the manor, but the current Baron Martyn (little more than a child at the time) fought on her behalf and she was allowed to stay. She has since been gracious to the Baron, but stayed away from all relationships.

Eddie Watkins

Eddie is a young valet, very slight and timid in build. He had few choices in life, being too physically weak because of childhood illnesses to do hard, physical labor, but too lowborn to rise. He was the bastard son of an Anglican vicar, so disgraceful and embarrassing that he was sent off to a long series of menial tasks, until achieving this nice post as a novice valet. Technically under Pickering's tutelage and guidance, the old man largely ignored him and left him to his own devices, wanting him to prove his merit and not wanting to invest much of his failing energy and remaining time on the lad. At just 18 years of age, he still wanted to get out of this life....but how....he was entirely self-educated and had little chance of a decent university education. He was too small and slender for the army....he is still a virgin, having lacked any real means to lose his "cherry"....he doesn't even know much about women or sex, beyond what he has read in books.

You might still get the chance to rebuff him...he's not necessarily a one-youth man.... Though I imagine that he'll stop short of anything damaging to his own skin.....well, seriously damaging, anyway...

Katlin's Bio:

Katlin McGinley, 18, about 5 foot 3, very long curly fire engine red hair (Just like my Av.). Just has come of age and the week before she had her coming out party. Her parents are very wealthy, her father owns and runs businesses across the world and is considered "Old Money". Katlin had just inherited the title Dutches of York, from her late mother and is now feeling the pressure from her father to marry a man that is capable of taking over his business affairs.

It just so happens that she is best friends with Anne and has a strong liking for Darcy.
