Submissive/Slave Haven

((((hugs)))) for HM and itw. It sounds like you are both experiencing some rough
times.

As for me, I'm happy, excited, scared witless about something right now...lol

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's at least incredibly insensitive to suggest Jewish parents are somehow unfair because we don't celebrate Christmas in our homes, especially when the suggestion is made to a Jewish parent in particular who's going through a rough time.

At least your getting a holiday. lol

Okay yeah... so the verbal sparring (damn I love intillectual men) with a week to go before I visit?

Incredibly fun; incredibly frustrating.

... just sayin'.

Whats even better is when you have been worrying over something, trying to figure it out on your own...Finally you get the courage to tell Him about it and in a matter of minutes the problem is solved.

*small bask* I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I can relate to this as well, littleone. I am not feeling lost, totally... (not in a "poor ruth" way) but... what we had was really cool, in some ways. I never saw it coming, that's for sure.
Not enough, ever. Yeah, that's it. HUGS to you , and to anyone else who has ever felt this way.
Do you think that Doms, in general, ever miss us the way that we miss them, when things are over?

I hated that *lost* feeling as well. It's like the rug just was pulled under you or when you get side swipped by a car. You never saw it coming and the pain reels over you rentlessly. And the recovery period is just as brutal...unsafe, unloved, unwanted and not enough ever.

I hate that place.

The more you are invested in a relationship the more that place hurts. Its like you are suddenly reduced to a small child which just learned Santa Claus never existed.

Ack. :rose:

This is really the hardest feeling in the world. Not just in this community but in all communities... when a relationship ends and you don't see it coming.

I'm trying to figure out now how to get through a relationship ending and I feel so lost and confused.

Rarely does anyone ever see it coming and that is what makes it hurt so much more. You are blindsided pretty much.

He put me in that not enough place several times...cheating, not wanting a power exchange relationship and eventually just not wanting to do anything any more.

But to answer your question...Yes I think they do miss us. Of course it might be too late then. Perhaps it is just my experience but usually after a break up, the D's try to get back together again. You never know what you are missing until you have lost it.

One day at a time is how. One day, one step and one breath at a time. That is how you get through it. Slowly, painfully until one day you wake up smiling for no reason. Rarely does the breakup ever make sense, acceptance does though.
