Submissive/Slave Haven

Welcome, CurlyKat. I'm happy that you feel so welcome here. :) Say hi more often! :D

<helps serve the tea & biscuits>

HottieMama, have you tried any clove oil? It's very strong, so only used the smallest bit possible. You can burn yourself with it if you're not careful. But it's wonderful at numbing toothaches. And it tastes lovely. :) You can also just stick a clove in your mouth, suck on it to soften it & squish it between your teeth (ON the affected tooth would be good ;)) to squeeze oil out if you don't actually have some food quality clove oil laying around.

See..this is what's weird about it... It's not one particular tooth. It is the entire left side of my teeth anf my jaw. It feels like someone punched me in the jaw while i was sleeping. i can't chew on that side at all, and can't open my mouth fully either.

i called the dentist but the soonest they can get me in is Friday. Ugh!

yeah i have plenty of biscuits and lots of blue rose and earl grey tea.

who's bringing the scones?

*sets out the scones stolen from my little sis*

Enjoy! She's a pretty good baker, and just happened to make some while I was at work today.

Blue rose? <raises an eyebrow>

HM, the clove would still help to numb the whole area, you'd just be spreading it around more. Or one of those commercial things from the store would do _something_ to help until they can see you. I hope you asked them to call you if there was a cancelation. Is this not an emergency? Most places keep spots open for just such a reason.

Yep..they said they would call if they had a cancellation. Hopefully they will have one. i'm sorta stuck because they are the only sedation dentist in the area that takes my insurance.

i'm going to try the clove as soon as my sitter can get over here and i can get to the store...

Yeah..Did i mention that my 1 yr old is puking like something out of The Exorcist?!?!

good lord, i love love love scones. esp chocolate chip scones and/or strawberry scones with sweet cream cheese icing.

yeah let me get that recipe for the blue rose tea.

*digs thru box*

oh my god!! what in the world?? do you know what is causing the sick up?

poor little tike. :(

awe, i always hate it when that happens... passing from one to the next.

you try to get some rest, ok hun?

Life is so bloody weird.

Ginger or camommmilllllleeee (I'm too lazy to look up how to spell it) tea might help settle his stomach some.

I've got lots of scones recipes. Somewhere. If you ever want any. But you have to have clotted cream w/them to have them at their best, IMO. I know. "Clotted" sounds so gross, right? It's heaven. Pure heaven, I tell ya.

oh i love clotted cream.. it is good too- i just like my recipe for sweet cream cheese icing. *drools*

ok, Blue Rose Tea

4 cups water, boiling
1 teaspoon rose extract (or to taste)
1 teaspoon blueberry extract (or to taste)
1 tablespoon red rose petals, fresh (or dried) just to jsuzz it up a bit
sugar, to taste (or honey) (optional)

Tea for four anyone?
lemon juice (optional)

Could be a sinus infection. Does it hurt more on the top than the bottom?

Umm, what in the world is rose extract & where do you get it? Is that like rose water? That I know the store sells. Not sure if one can consume it though.

well, its not the essential oil if that is what you are thinking. Its just like vanilla extract or almond extract- except, its roses. Any natural food stuff store should carry it, but if you don't have anything like that close by, you can order it online. Its really good- it makes a wonderful aromatic and it tastes really good. :)

I like the tea above plain as well as with a really heady earl grey tea. It always chases my blehs away.

Shy..what's up???

i can chew today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know it's pretty bad when i am this excited about eating!

Are you ok, Shy? I'm glad you're feeling a little better today, HM. :) Did you get something for the pain then?

VB...I took Advil yesterday which didn'r really help, but when I woke up this morning the pain was gone.

i'm still going to the dentist on Friday, but i am just thrilled that i can eat real food right now.

**sits back and eats her salad.**
