Super Tuesday

No big surprises in the presidential primaries except Nikki Haley’s quick announcement that she’s suspending her campaign. There was some question about whether she might hang on a bit longer. With that out of the way, the contest most of us have been expecting for some time now has been confirmed. Haven’t seen anything in the results that indicate any fundamental change in the national or electoral college dynamics but perhaps some data analytics of the state data or exit polling might reveal some new insights. I’ll be interested in the turnout numbers and composition of the Haley voters (of which I was one of).

It’s weird that there’s no discussion of what happened in the elections today.
It was no secret who was going to win for either party. I didn't vote for the first time in decades (or forever). I'd still find it physically challenging to get to the polls, there was virtually no publicity given the primary where I'm living, and there was no competition.

Biden did awesome, considering he pretty much had no one running against him.

Awesome?

You mean like being the FIRST INCUMBENT PRESIDENT since 1980 to lose in a primary?

Biden lost the primary in American Samoa to someone no one's heard of before yesterday. And he lost badly.

Is that the kind of awesome you mean?

I ask.....what's the difference between a dog turd and a cat turd?

I know. Watchingtown is a magical place where bullshit has a clean end.

As in both parties are equally as worthless.

End the Fed. Return to common sense fiscal policy. Return to anti-globalism foreign policy.

Trump’s losses in Vermont and D.C. are more significant than Biden’s loss in American Samoa.

Lol.

Trump lost to Haley, someone who is known on the national political stage. Biden lost to Palmer, someone NO ONE KNOWS OR HAD HEARD OF before yesterday.

But you believe Trump's two losses are "more significant."

Just lol.

Donald Trump is underperforming the polling. States where he was expected to win big, he barely pulls out a victory.

The opposite is true of Biden.

This tells us a lot of Republicans don’t want Trump and that Biden has a solid base of Democratic supporters behind him.

If this is what you want to believe, I suggest you buy stock in Kleenex because there's going to be a lot of tears shed after November.

Given that Trump is underperforming in the Republican primary, what gives you confidence that he’ll do any better against Biden in the general election?

Haley is dropping out, but all those Haley voters aren’t going to suddenly start supporting Trump.

Biden loses in American fucking Samoa? That's gotta mean that he's blown his chances of being re-elected. FFS.

Trump couldn't point to American Samoa on a map.

There's a very real question on whether Biden will be the nominee or if the DNC will have to put someone else up as the November candidate. So the rematch may or may not happen.

What's fairly certain is that Trump will be the Republican nominee now that Haley has suspended her campaign.

What is also fairly certain is that most people are coming to realize that the lawfare against Trump is falling apart because there wasn't any there, there. Which means that most of the things being said against him are equally as false.

And finally, the one thing you don't recognize as hurting Biden the most, and which could result in his not being reelected, is:

" rump couldn't point to American Samoa on a map. "

At least not without a Sharpie.

I see you have a new recruit in your troll boiler room acct.

Somebody should look over your training material, using the quote feature shouldn't be so difficult even for raw newbs.
