Super Tuesday

I don't think there are as many crossover votes as people seem to declare. I think Virginia is going to be close and slightly left.

I'll be following polling more closely going forward.

Btw- Thank you for your continued contributions to my poll thread. I think you get the spirit of that thread better than most and I appreciate that.
Virginia will definitely be close. It’s a purple state with a blue concentration in NOVA that gets bluer the closer you get to the beltway.

Neat.

Now do Haley

Neat... Now do Haley
Don't have to, Haley was humiliated by Trump on Super Tuesday. Her political career is likely over. Yesterday was a demonstration of how has-beens are born. If at some time she does intend to support Trump it better happen soon because if she waits too long the press won't even show up to take her statement.

So the Democrats who voted for Haley don't matter to you because why?

What about the independents who voted for Haley that will be voting for Biden?

Better yet - how many Republicans voted for Biden in the primary?

CA Prop 1 is fascinating. It’s a 69 page mental health and housing amalgamation that few voters understand and has CA progressives divided. What’s remarkable is that it’s the only measure on the statewide ballot and is a signature measure from Governor Newsom. Millions have been spent to get it passed, and almost no money has been spent in opposition. Yet in spite of that, at this point in time it’s too close to call.

Best coda for last nights Super Tuesday results:
"Donald Trump got fewer total votes last night than he did as a candidate for re-election in 2020"
"Donald Trump also got fewer total votes last night than he did in a much more competitive open field on Super Tuesday in 2016".

Ouch.

I presume you are opposed to this measure "on principle"?

I don't dispute that some independents, Democrats, and Republicans do not support Trump. I don't know how many Republicans voted for Biden, if any. I do think that if some number of Republicans did vote for Biden that number would be inconsequential in the overall scheme of things. It simply remains to be seen how they will vote in November.

Joe Biden got less votes than he did as a candidate in 2020 as well.

Your attention regarding Haley really was misguided. It shouldn't be about how many Republicans ignored or laughed at her, but rather those who turned to her and likely will stay home or vote for Biden in the general. It's a sizeable number and one that will be important in November.... Regardless of how well 45 did in the primaries... Which was never really in question.

Biden's support in the Democratic primaries has been solid and better than it was in 2020.

I’m glad I don’t vote in CA anymore didn’t have to read the 68 page measure. Much of the opposition was based on transferring control over the purse strings from county governments to Sacramento. I’m a big fan of local control so that would have likely made me a no vote.

Joe Biden is the first President to lose a primary in 44 years, since Jimmy Carter, and he lost it to a nobody named Jason Palmer from Baltimore.

You continue to focus on stupid shit that doesn't matter.

In the general, the independents and moderates will be the deciding factor. Biden losing a single primary in Samoa has no bearing on that in the slightest. Haley getting 30% of the Republican vote in multiple states likely does.

She means nothing in November. There is no expectation that those Republican voters won't come home in November and or vote for Biden. This bit about her telling Trump he has to earn her votes is her trying to blackmail him for the VP spot. She isn't going to be the VP.

I am not saying she matters, dipshit. The people who voted for her matter. Many voted for her who won't vote for 45 in the general.

She won't be his VP. I doubt she'll even endorse him.

"Residents of US territories can vote in primaries but are not represented in the Electoral College system that ultimately decides who wins the White House in the general election.

American Samoa has a history with longshot candidates: billionaire Michael Bloomberg scored his only win of the 2020 Democratic primary race there, before his candidacy flamed out."

It's kinda like a clown act place for voting.

At this point who gives a shit, we're nine moths away from the election, anything can happen or not happen.

You exaggerate every single poll that comes out about the general when it goes against Biden..... Having actual voting records should matter to you even more, yet you minimize what it actually means.

Lol... That's funny

Right, and in VA crossover voting is very easy. You can be a registered Republican and ask for a Democratic ballot or vice versa.
Virginia doesn't have partisan registration, or at least it didn't when I lived there. In any event, it's been blue in the past four elections and almost certainly will be this time too.
Joe Biden got less votes than he did as a candidate in 2020 as well.
Because he has no opposition to speak of.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew they ask which party ballot you want, but assumed voter registration required party affiliation.

trump is the first 2x impeached president who also lost the popular vote twice.

And the only one busted for rape.
