But Donald Trump doesn't like Eric. He doesn't like Donald Jr. much either. On the other hand, he'd like to take Ivanka to bed (assuming he hasn't already, of course).

What does that actually mean? My knowledge of American English is not the greatest, but my understanding is that it does not mean sack her.

She was apparently put under illegal surveillance by "un-official" resources paid for by ? and on whose orders? followed by an instruction to "Take her out."

Shortly afterwards the Ambassador left Ukraine because she thought, "her security was threatened." By whom?

If you have five minutes research the names of Parnas and Fruman and especially look at who funded their trips to Ukraine and their connections to Giulliani and Charles Cucciardo. Parnas has known Trump for years as he sold real estate for him and later Parnas got into a number of fraud scams which obviously Trump had nothing at all to do with. :rolleyes:

Conclusions( so far).

1. Donald Trump picks his friends very very badly.

2. Follow the money, it's gunna trip more of these crooks up.
 
The president of the United States of America using the vernacular of a gangster is, apparently, not much of an issue. At least to his fans.
 
Not really. It's a beautiful morning. The temperature is lovely. Kitty Girl is romping in the flowers. I do have a little frost bite damage on the pentas and that kind of sucks but they'll grow over that.

Would it make you happy if I was angry? I know you guys live to analyze my life in detail. It brings joy to your otherwise dreary lives.

My reaction to the high levels of dignity Trump continually brings to the most powerful office in the world is something that does seem to cause a reaction among you. I wonder why that is. :rose:

My assessment appears to be accurate: it's okay for the president to speak like a gangster. Interesting. :)

She may still be in the State Department when Trump is jerked out of his current job. She'll certainly get a lot better press in history than he will.

Giuliani tried three times to get her fired, and failed. Then he texted Parnas to keep quiet about his failure.

It amazes me that when the party changes with the executive
that they don't clean house to prevent this sort of "statecraft."

Anyone else getting the impression that in the eyes of the democrats the president, any president, should only do what his employees tell him to do? That the president should be a slave to the bureaucracy like the rest of us?
 
That only applies to Republicans.
Democrats feel they own the government
and if you poll the employees of government
you will find that that is close to the truth; they own the bureaucracy...

I've been in DC and I know that this is very close to the truth.
When your livelihood depends upon government
then your leanings are towards the party that
believes in ever larger government.

Y'know something, Barrister Timmay? You have a point. Ambassadors DO serve at the pleasure of the president and CAN be removed at any time for any reason.

This brings up an interesting point, though: All Trump had to do was pick up the phone and call the Secretary of State and ask for her removal.

Instead, he got in touch with his personal lawyer (Rudy 911) and asked his (Rudy's) assistant Parnas to "take her out".

To me, that puts an altogether different spin on things. I understand though your intense desire to go full-SgtSchultz "I SEE NUTHINK!"

And? What evidence you got to support that fantasy?

Remember, in THIS COUNTRY the accused is presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty. So, trot that filly out and let's take a look at her.

And that kinda family, you know THAT kind of family ... uses nondescript phrases when they want some one gone, ya know, sleepin' with da fishes kinda gone. Ya know , like 'take 'em out'. 'Get rid of 'em.'

Thank you for the explanation. I thought that when Trump asked that his business associate/friend/criminal, Parnas should 'take her out', he meant that she should be killed. Obviously, her fears for her security and my concerns were equally misplaced. :rolleyes:
