Oh I sure do see it now. I am in a Southlake parking lot right now trying to find a good route back to FW avoiding the worst of the storm. I am also tempted to be an amateur storm chaser and get some cool lightning photos!

So, the NCAA Final Four is this weekend and ESPN (sports channel for the women) has their shows broadcasting outdoors from downtown Fort Worth.

I live about 5 mins from downtown and was thinking about trying to stand in the background to get on tv. Anyone have tricky ideas to stand out? Bright colors, giant banana suit, Alladdin or genie costume?
 
I took my un from the title of a Tom Wait song. The Eyeball Kid. Very odd song. Seemed fitting. I can be a very odd man.

I am considering it, but it seems like it would be a giant hassle. They expect something like 40,000 people. I am so not up for that kind of traffic.
 
Yea, I just read an article about how it's going to be a nightmare for parking. Performers are Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, The Killers and Bruce Springsteen.

I would go...no I probably wouldn't...but I get to go to some 80's club in Fort Worth for a birthday party. Has anyone heard of or been to Studio Eighty? I was told I need to dress up in 80's clothes...which means it's off to Goodwill after work!

I have heard about it, but I won't tell you what they said until after you get back. Would love to know your take.

I know...but I :heart: Jason Aldean (and Brantley Gilbert). My friends want to see Tim. I am not a big fan of his tho.
 
Before going I'm expecting something similar to an adult version of Chuck E. Cheese's meets a 1985 version of Glee; minus the gays, Mexicans and blacks while adding Rick Springfield and awkward dancing. Yea, the reviews all said they are, unfortunately, pretty racist and find any reason to not let people in the doors.
