It was a great team of guns that kept us busy shooting amazing high birds. The boys did well and watching t Toby dive into the river and swim across for a bird he had seen fall was amazing. It’s moments like that which make the effort worthwhile.

As soon as the sun dipped the temperature dropped like a stone and it was numb fingers by 3.30….but good to be back!

Update and the fog was thick and cold at 40 F. I finished getting some brush to the compost bin before the clouds rolled in. It is definitely going to rain.

On the bright side, my GF and I checked out a park where snow plus trails equals a good walk in the winter. And we had coffee and donut at the local bakery. Mine was chocolate cake with chocolate icing.

Well, I'm snockered! I got up at the ridiculous hour of 0900. What kind of people actually want to work so early? 😆😆

We're looking at a bomb cyclone for today and maybe tomorrow. We're supposed to get high winds and torrential rains. There will probably be widespread power outages. I don't have to go anywhere today. I made a big pot of soup tonight and some beer bread. And there's plenty of ice cream in the freezers. I have a generator so I'll be fine. I've already invited neighbors over for a hurricane party.
