Slept in today. Watching some football and switching to my favorite cooking shows on the public station. I have been known to actually try what they show every now and again! Counting down the hours till the Las Vegas Gran Prix! It’s been a fantastic year in Formula 1, so hope the race is a good one. Vegas put on a quite the show last year.

MZ has turned into AZ as I waaaay overslept this morning.

My one sister visited my mom today and had a good visit. She’s still confused and a bit upset but had a good, productive visit.

In the meantime, my wife and I drove up to upstate New York to visit my sister who’s having a difficult time. We had a really nice visit and helped her get some work done on her attic that she’s refurbishing into a room. it’s pretty amazing, she’s pretty crafty. I gotta tell you.

She made a finished attic, instead of buying shiplap, she bought 3/4 plywood with a maple finish and ripped it into strips. It looks really good!!

We had a late lunch at Cohens, which is one of the best bakeries on the planet!
