The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Im glad you have each other, it makes such a difference. I’m a rare disease patient and for a while I had someone who kept tract of me, but he’s been gone 10.5 years now. I miss him and not having to be alert all the time even though he was drama lama ;)
Unfortunately there are many of us who miss our partner and loved one. I miss mine and she always said that she would take care of her old man. I miss her the most this time of year. 🫂

I'm still managing the back pain from when I saw my trainer last. I need to remind her I'm an old lady and not a nubile young hottie like her! 🤣🤣

It is getting better. Lots of stretching, yoga poses, walking, and, interestingly enough, stairs! Yes, taking the stairs helps my back pain! 🤯🤯
Walking and a heating pad help mine.

Will kegals help? I’m a guy. But I did some damage riding my bike. The urologist sent me to physical therapy where they walked me through 3 types of kegal exorcises. I still go to sleep around 10 but often don’t wake up until after the sun is up.
Very annoying exorcises to me. It took a lot of perseverance to keep it up. I didn’t see or feel results for 10 or 12 weeks. Now I really like the results and try to fit them in daily. I wasn’t feeling old, but oh to feel young again! Who knew.
I've been doing Kegels for decades! Keeps us ladies ... , um, ... supple. 😆😅😆

I use one I found online for @ $20/25 to help with my dry eye. It's USB, so I can take it anywhere and plug it into a desktop, laptop, power bank, or wall charger - even the car charger (provided I'm a passenger). It has several temperature and time settings. I put a damp washcloth over my eyes and the mask on top for a warm compress that lasts a good half hour or so.
I have one that has cold and hot therapy. For a time, I was needing the cold therapy. They're harder to find. I do like this one.

Thanks for the advice. I’m already working with my bank on the debit card issue. I don’t use credit cards, just a personal choice. It’s not worth lawyering up for two outdated monitors. Of course there is an appeals process, and there are other contributing factors that may relieve me from liability, but having been an investigating officer for similar losses in other organizations on the installation there could be a good chance I’m found liable. I signed for the property, and I didn’t take appropriate measures to protect it. I could have told my boss to pound sand, either he signs for the monitors (which was supposed to happen but never did) or I being the back to my office where I can control access. Of course I’m trying to be a team player and I caught it in the ass - again. After 40 and a half years working for the Army as a Soldier and civilian this isn’t the first time the big green weenie has screwed me. The irony is that the Army has failed multiple audits and has lost accountability of billions of dollars of equipment but they will hold my nuts over the fire for $400 worth of equipment. I truly appreciate everyone’s support and advice. I’ve played this game before and I was caught up in the anger of the moment. The past two weeks have been successive kicks in my crotch and it gets tiring. Thank’s everyone.
We're here for you, BSK! Whether you need to vent, get ideas, or just a hug.

Just remember, your boss will NOT protect you! In the future, create a paper CYA trail. You need to protect yourself. 🫂🫂

I would ask that lillianna weigh in to. I would schedule with cardio for a check in. once they rule out bone stuff need to get to the bottom of it.. was it thoracic aortic aneurysm that he was concerned about? Heart symptoms can be very vague and fleeting. Are you doing any new exercise? Does it hurt with movement or if you change position? Heart history? high blood pressure? Family history? Do you take a daily aspirin?
I posted a lengthy response. Probably more than H wanted. There will be an exam next week! 😅🤣😆

Yes! Thoracic aortic aneurysm is what he said. I did have an EKG in Sept and it was normal. No new exercises. Yes to hurts with movement. Mainly flipping over in bed and getting up in the morning. It catches and is painful…but, once I make the flip, it goes away and I can rest. Doesn’t seem to bother me during the day, but I can move and sort of feel a dull ache, but not the sharp pain when on my side in bed.

No HBP, have done a couple of stress tests and the Nuke x-ray thing for my heart. All good, but there is family history….No to the daily aspirin but I do take Zinc and other vitamins…
Get this checked out. ASAP!

For those with back pain such as Lili, therapeutic massage is best.

A therapeutic massage is great. I have on going back issues and my first issue was protruding disc. I could barely walk and was in bed except to go to physical therapy. i remember how much better I felt afterwords.
