Urgh. Watching Boise State shoot them selves in the foot. Way too many penalties and other mistakes.

I carmelized some onions earlier today. Looks like seasoning these pans will be a work in progress.Don’t have any carbon pans but have tons of Cast Iron…in fact Santa dropped off a new one a few days ago. For the wife of course
I read that article and it looks like both are seasoned in the same way. Grapeseed is good, Lard as mentioned, and avocado is what I’ve been using. According to Cowboy Kent Rollins, when breaking in a new pan, fry up onions and potatoes. Whatever enzymes it has in those things really helps. Re-season every time until it starts to break in. Just cook every day with it also. Labor of love but man it pays off! Let me know how that Carbon pan works out. I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger…
Sleep well and safe travels!!Happy New Year everyone…wont make it to ball drop…early airline out. Back to work for me but it’s been a nice vacation and wonderful Christmas time. Enjoy Spooners! As OM, Wonderer, and other have mentioned, let’s keep the good vibes going and create a space that is the envy of Lit.
Happy New Year!
You too my dear
Is that you (avatar) in your profile?
So you're saying I have to be nice, and hide my knives?![]()
Sharpen them first, just in case!
What on earth do you guys do to butterflies that requires a knife???

To be fair, those sponges work so well, I should have guessed there'd be a catch.
