My wife used to meet me at the door after I came home from work on Friday nights dressed in nothing but my boxers and my favorite NFL shirt. Every time I just knew it was going to be a great weekend.
Well, one Friday I decided to return the favor and met her at the door after she came home from her mother's. She looked me up and down and started screaming at me with a completely shocked look on her face. She screamed, " Mitch, take my underwear off this instant! Your going to stretch it out!". I can't seem to do anything right. She even called me a weirdo. Sheesh.

Had to make some calls today to round up some references. One ex-boss, one vendor/salesman, one subcontractor, and one property manager. That should be an excellent mix.

When they took away sick days and lumped it all together that was the last day I gave a reason..... I won't be there Is my call in.... they push and I say .... I am using a time off day. It is without much notice so I understand that .... the reason is my concern alone. They back right down

She said that she is still sick and is sorry she hasn't responded, But would like everyone to know that she misses them. It was short and to the point but I haven't heard back. I'm sure Lili is in our thoughts and prayers each and every day.

So sorry she's still sick. some bugs take longer than others to evict. Yes, thinking of Lili every day and hoping for forward progress. Inch by inch to make a mile.

@Missk_2022 I am okay…just with daughter and grandson….just heard my mom is in a rehab unit, getting physio and walked 70m today. Speach has returned so I thank you all for your best wishes and prayers for me and my family.

The headhunter emailed me back. My last reference to her, my property management buddy, gushed, apparently. "She LOVES you," the email said. Well, it was a tough assignment we were on, and there was lots of bitching. We kinda needed an ally, a Sanity Buddy. I thought it was nice to have a woman reference in this man-dominated industry of mine.
