The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I'm looking into this option as well.

Loving all the entries! 😍
And still, a part of me says, "keep it simple and plausible". May I suggest the simple "tummy bug"... for reasons

I've heard nothing but positive feedback from folk that have seen this flick.

Unrelated personal note - I was doing just that one weekend about 10-12 years ago. Mentioned to a friend that I didn't think I could drink another drop.
Their response:
You know there's cranberry capsules, right?
My brothers and sisters of the Spoon 🤯🤯🤯
I've been taking capsules ever since - never had a recurrence of the issue.

Had this happen to a coworker @ 20 years ago. I don't work with them anymore. Statute of Limitations has passed, so the Cone of Silence is lifted - -

Coworker spent hours in the ER thinking she was having a heart attack. Until the scan results came in.

Diagnosis: Impacted colon :poop:
She was full and needed a laxative.
Then came into work the next morning and told anyone who would listen all about it. Like it was a surprising travesty that had occurred.

Mind you, this was a woman who self-professed:
I don't eat fruit... or vegetables... or any foods that are red. Except for Red Velvet Cake :ROFLMAO:
Explained SO much!!
I have fixed the impaction problem in the er many times...... emergent enema and manual removal..... nursing is such a glorious profession

I'm calling it a night.
Behind on correspondence.
Busy work day - busy IRL day, too.
Time to recharge
Sleep well, everyone

I used carnivore diet last year. It seemed to get me into ketosis sooner. It wasn't long before I was doing 36 hour fast really easy. I lost 100 pounds last year. I gained 15 or so of it back during the move from Florida to Mississippi and the the holidays (I do a lot of the cooking).
I really like carne ore because I don't count or keep up with anything. After you swap your body over from using carbs as energy to using protein for energy, my body was much easier to hear about when I needed food and more importantly when I didn't need food
My main draw back was how expensive it was to start. It took a lot of meat to get transitioned over. Almost 6 weeks worth. All I could eat anytime I wanted it. Then all of a sudden I only wanted to eat a decent amount once a day and then 36 hour fast was super easy. As another consequence my grocery bill suddenly was almost nothing. 2 cheap fatty steaks, 4 bone-in pork chops, a package of bacon and a couple of chicken leg quarters or breasts was my groceries for the week. Oh, and an 18 pack of eggs.
Finding it hard to get back to it tho. The household has grown from 4 to 6 with two extra seniors to shop and cook for. It's gonna take much more discipline now.
Good luck on whatever your weight loss or gain journey is. Trying to stay young sucks.

Wow...I couldn't live like that. I am a full fledged type 2 diabetic. I take oral medication and live by a disciplined diet. Trying to stay alive sucks. I made it to 70 and cheat a little but don't tell Lady K ( my Domme ) & wife.

Hey guys. Just wanted to share with you, that my mother passed away yesterday afternoon.

The last 1.5 days for her were trying and painful, but she was in hospice and getting morphine and an anti anxiety med, so that helped. I was with her at the end…

Anyway - just wanted to let you all know too. No arrangements, just a few memorials. Thanks all for your understanding, love and support, good vibes, prayers, and well wishes.

It meant a lot to me and Mrs Wonderer. (I couldn’t exactly tell my sisters and daughter that the literotica crew were thinking of us… 😂)

❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Sorry for your loss. At least she is now at peace and spared any prolonged suffering, both for her sake and for yours.
Thoughts with you and your family.

Thanks OM! You have such a way with words… beautifully written.

I agree, she is definitely in a better place. I hate to admit that I’m a little bit relieved, but it was hard seeing her in so much pain the last couple of days… 😕

Again, appreciate your beautiful words.
Nothing wrong with feeling like this. Relief was my overwhelming emotion when my father died a couple of years ago. He suffered for 16 months after a stroke and needed carers 4 times a day to wash and change him. The man I knew had left me long before his final breath.
Don't be sad that she has died, be happy that she lived.
