***** ATTENTION ******* I got a brief message from @Lilianna23 at 2:12 am (est) Eastern standard time. 3 1/2 hours ago. She said that she is still sick and is sorry she hasn't responded, But would like everyone to know that she misses them. It was short and to the point but I haven't heard back. I'm sure Lili is in our thoughts and prayers each and every day.

Nothing wrong with feeling like this. Relief was my overwhelming emotion when my father died a couple of years ago. He suffered for 16 months after a stroke and needed carers 4 times a day to wash and change him. The man I knew had left me long before his final breath.
Don't be sad that she has died, be happy that she lived.
Totally agree.

And my mom was such a wordsmith and loved words so much, I must admit that I told her some of your bad puns and wordplay!

So, in a weird way, she knew some of your “work.” 😂

I used carnivore diet last year. It seemed to get me into ketosis sooner. It wasn't long before I was doing 36 hour fast really easy. I lost 100 pounds last year. I gained 15 or so of it back during the move from Florida to Mississippi and the the holidays (I do a lot of the cooking).
I really like carne ore because I don't count or keep up with anything. After you swap your body over from using carbs as energy to using protein for energy, my body was much easier to hear about when I needed food and more importantly when I didn't need food
My main draw back was how expensive it was to start. It took a lot of meat to get transitioned over. Almost 6 weeks worth. All I could eat anytime I wanted it. Then all of a sudden I only wanted to eat a decent amount once a day and then 36 hour fast was super easy. As another consequence my grocery bill suddenly was almost nothing. 2 cheap fatty steaks, 4 bone-in pork chops, a package of bacon and a couple of chicken leg quarters or breasts was my groceries for the week. Oh, and an 18 pack of eggs.
Finding it hard to get back to it tho. The household has grown from 4 to 6 with two extra seniors to shop and cook for. It's gonna take much more discipline now.
Good luck on whatever your weight loss or gain journey is. Trying to stay young sucks.
Congrats and I get it. Being fat sucks too

Grieving when people are still alive sucks.... that is why the sense of relief. I am growing a lot of people right now....

Good morning. I almost posted at 2 as my sleep was fitful. This the first bad night of sleep in several days. I woke at 2 thinking about my mortality and my upcoming MRI.

I am going to opt out of taxi service this morning. It’s not good to drive sleep deprived.
Yep....precious cargo (you and grandpas sweeties) must be safe

I got one too..... she is going to the doctor again and we talked some medical stuff..... i won't bore you.... let's all hope she is back with us soon

What program are you using I'm trying to stabilize my intermittent fasting.... So difficult
I don’t think I do intermittent fasting 100% correctly, but I really do like it.

Typically have my first meal around noon, and then dinner. I do cheat and have a little bit of a snack after dinner, but I will bet you 100% it’s not due to hunger, which is not good.

I eat 2 meals typically. My stomach has to growl before I eat a meal....

Good morning Dive Dwellers. Getting up to mid 50s today (and only dropping to mid 40s overnight) but quite breezy and wet for most of the day. Stay safe, warm and well.
Thanks NC. That sounds unseasonably warm for France.

But in the middle of winter, I would take days like that any day of the week. I do like the cold, but in tiny tiny doses.

I am sorry to hear that B2…

I can’t stand those invasive, late night and awake thoughts. The good news is they’re just that, thoughts and that you can turn them around a little bit.

But really smart not to drive if you’re sleep deprived, especially with that precious cargo!!
