Shessh. People!Hone from sewer board.... they tried to slip a transfer of 400000 dollars without board approval except for board pres. My co board member and myself put q stop to it..... then tried to quote Robert's rules to us.... they were wrong.....AND then someone wants a sewer credit for watering lawn..... I reminded we had an ordinance and it is not feasible to manage..... its bs.... all over 1 guy who had a high water bill from watering his lawn during a drought with a watering restriction in place..... who happens to be friends with our sewer board admin...I will be voting no
Have a good night! You deserve some rest and a good sleep! Those are the average people. Half of them are even stupider than that!
Off to read. I’ve had quite enough of people and people doing today.
Sleep well @dkak001Finally caught up. It's been a long day, now it's time for bed.
Good night all.
That’s what we’ve ALWAYS called our cats - beasts or beasties.Hugs to you and the wee beasties
Bummer about the work project.Long day of solid meetings. I blocked the last two hours of my day to work on a deliverable for work.
Took me from 3 to 7 PM, and I’m only about a quarter of the way done. Urgh… weekend work…but there’s no other way.
My wife and I are members of the New Jersey backyard forestry Association, and we attended a very interesting webinar on forest fires.
Quick! Name the spin-off from this!Totally random.
Crazy day of meeting after meeting after meeting, but my friend just texted me this horrific memory from the late 70s!
And now I will give you the gift that keeps on taking!
Who remembers this show?
You beat me to it!Or the even worse spin off “Sheriff Lobo”
Sooo, about this killer ass??It did, well enough. That side of the family is weird. The other side is dead, so they're less complicated/complicating. Mom dropped several f-bombs while riding down and said she might slip up while we were there. She didn't that I heard. The service was okay. The priestess gave a homily and talked about how Death is hard. Death isn't hard, it's fucking Life that's hard. I didn't correct her after the service. Once she got out of her vestments, Wat could see what a killer nice ass she has. She got a pass. Most of those people we only see at funerals. I have tighter family in this-here online bar. I had a first cousin - probably 45 or so - introduce himself and say we had never met. I agreed and told him, let's keep it that way. There was a picture of Mom, who was walking by herself at 92, her 89YO step-sister on a walker, and her 85YO 1st cousin on a cane and they did a Little Old Lady picture. I said out loud that it looked like bridesmaids catching the bouquet to see who's next. Someone heard me. It's fucking true . . . . The ride home was uneventful.
Mom also forgot to pay her phone bill so it's cut off.

Well there's...actually nothing. I remember having one of my first school lunches and not liking the look of beetroot. I was told that I had to try everything, so I ate a piece and it was vile. All good and I was allowed to leave the remainder. A fortnight later, however, beetroot was back on the menu and I was told that I had to try everything. Despite my protestations that I was highly unlikely to have developed an affinity for it within the previous 14 days, I was forced to try it again. This little dance routine carried on through my early school years. These days the beetroot stays safely on the supermarket shelf! Our taste buds totally change.
Question of the day.
What are some foods that you used to hate, that you like now?
Salmon
Green tea
I’m sure there are others.
Retired so every day is a Friday for me.Good morning bar beaus and bar belles. Have you got that Friday feeling?
