I'm amazed what walks away or is treated very cavalierly by some workmen. Handyman ghosted me for the last 10 days. Checking in to see if he has availability this week to finish up. I may have to look for some YouTube videos to see if I can DIY the odds/ends that are left.


Same. Got the news a close family friend passed. Frustrated b/c the news came too late to be able to travel for services. At least 1 family member will be there. Perfect world, all siblings would attend. Focusing on all the good memories helps.

We agree. A bunch of us were fairly ill and in this hospital when they banned us for being “ too complicated and complex” when it happened.

They can't do that. They are required to stabilize and transport if they can't give treatment there. Like K+ said, it's an EMTALA violation!

I just got notification today that my taxes and refund were approved! I'll start on 2024 taxes but if I haven't received the refund yet, I'll file an extension.

Is there such a thing as having a solar panel or device that I could run in my garage to keep things charged. Like my battery drill or my trickle charger for my lawn mower. If so how bigger device would I need to make it happen

Do you have outlets in your garage? I'm sure there's something. Probably some of the guys would know. When we built our house, my husband did most of the electrical. He put so many outlets in every room!

We have bakeries in my area that make chocolate bread and chocolate bread rolls. So with the dinner menu, I was expecting something more along those lines.

There is a hotel on Victoria Island called the Empress Hotel. They are famous for their high tea! It's in BC, Canada but an easy ferry ride from the peninsula. Or, one can take a longer ferry through the San Juan Islands. It's a very picturesque ride!
