The lightning and thunder were almost instantaneous. Really heavy gusts and 3/4” of rain in about 20 minutes.
A few branches down, and I thought all of our sunflowers got blown over, but we only had one casualty!

Be still my diabetic heart!Well, I've caught up and it's just after midnight. I've spent the past two days on yardwork and baking. Of course, it's been super hot (for us) here, in the mid 80s today.
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow (today) and always bring treats. I baked a loaf of my bread, a pan of brookies (mashup of chocolate chip cookies and brownies), and the chocolate chip cookies to take in to the office. I've been doing this for years! They love seeing me on the schedule!

I had similar back symptoms and requested some PT from the doctor. The PT not only is helping with hip pain, but also with my lower back pain. Back pain messes with sleep too. Take care!

I mowed yesterday and pulled some weeds. There is no way I will get ahead of them, I fear. There might be some weed-n-feed in the garage; I need to look. But I think my gardens will have to be hand weeded. IDK if the WNF will kill my flowers.
