That method works well with cat portraits, too![]()
I fascinate TDK and Ethyl so that they pose as though carved from marble.
Off. Pleasant dreams, Spoonies!!!
Fly safely, OM . . . .

I heard the ranchers couldn't afford feed, so they had to thin their herds.I agree in the percentage of meat what's going on? I hear all the packing plants are foreign owned
And the quality is so much better... i want to say last time i bought a 1/2 worked out to be 6/lb including packaging. Cheaper than 85/15 chuck.I do buy 1/4 and 1/2 from a local packing facility. The price per lb turns out to be retail hamburger prices when your buy in bulk from some of these small local guys
When I heard half and quarter I immediately thought half and quarter beast, it is a lot cheaper to buy in bulk hereAnd the quality is so much better... i want to say last time i bought a 1/2 worked out to be 6/lb including packaging. Cheaper than 85/15 chuck.
Thanks, sweetie! This thing has decided I'm its life ccompanion and just will not move on!Lots of rest and I hope u feel better soon...![]()

Where's the fun in that?Heading to Kazakhstan everyone behave.
I'm kind of meh on zinc. It doesn't seem to help or hurt me.Feel better soon!
Does zinc help to lessen the severity and shorten the duration of your colds? Some people swear by it.
I find it helps somewhat. But I do have to make sure to take the minimum recommended dosage. Otherwise, it messes with my GI system if I recall correctly. I always have some on hand, though, just in case
Is there a new sheriff in town??
Thank you, Boat!Sorry to hear that! I hope you have a speedy recovery!![]()
You would be worried about them all the time!I have before.... but not right now with parents....sad
Noted! To some extent i believe what they are saying. I just dont appreciate the "drink the koolaid" way they talk about it... it is condescending
Have you been peeking in my windows, OM?
Thanks, B2! We do get some interesting weather at times. Unlike many, I don't seem to be affected by SAD. I kind of like the rain and gloom. It's a good excuse to cuddle on the couch with the pup, napping and reading.I visited Seattle once during an atmospheric river event. The company put me in a hotel and my room was on the upper floors. I could see the waves of clouds rolling in. It never seemed to stop ! My heart goes out to you and others under the dreary rainy days.
I did make some chicken soup with my stock. This bug seems to be hanging on. Lots of people in the area have it.You know I can’t give a nurse advice on how to manage the common cold or other virus, but I will suggest chicken soup. It always improves my disposition.
Excellent recap, B2!Good morning MissK and Wat. I made it to 4 am and them my old dog to 430. I had coffee and toast and he had a treat. Now he is cuddled beside me snoring.
My thoughts about the posts since I last logged in:
The weather may vary from region to region and none seem to be doing well- too wet, too cold, too windy and all of them.
Potatoes if twice baked with melted cheddar is comfort food.
Chicken soup for the winter colds and viruses. Nurse approved I hope!
Travel or work away from home for business is not fun. I don’t miss those days. And I wish those that do it the best. Retirement approaches sooner than you think.
Aging parents are stressful as you care and love them even though they frustrate the hell out of you. I have been though it too.
Worthy endeavor, W! No water moon pics now until spring when the boat goes back in the water. Here's a pic I snapped the other day!Is that a euphemism for something?? Or
We’d like to see your moons on the water…
(Sorry, but I’m filling in for @nipplecaresser )

You don’t have to be sorry RJ. I am mushy too!Happy Veterans Day to all our veterans and wanna be veterans.
I wanted to serve but was denied, because I didn't pass the physical or psychological.
I have family hero's that I miss now, but I miss all our Hero's globally who faithfully fought for the freedoms we now have.
I'm sorry if I'm being mushy in my feelings. It's just the way I am...
This is a GREAT pic, H!That brings back memories. I had family that lived in Chantilly. Our summer vacations were running around the battlefields and DeeCee. Going out to Dulles to watch the Concorde take off and land! Also going to Redskin summer training camp. Good memories. I love VA! It’s for lovers…right?
Over da Hump. Did y’all see that moon last night? Wow! took a pic but its not the best…
