Today was a typical farm Saturday. Filled up the wood bins at the farm stand. We got completely cleared out.

Then a friend of mine came over to scope out the electrical work at the mill building. We bullshitted and caught up for a while.

Then off to the lumber co to get lumber for the doors. I was hoping to get both doors done but I got one done and hung and got the swings one mostly done. I’ll knock it out tomrrow. I hate these short days or I woulda finished it.

Then made wonderer gravy, stir fried a bunch veggies and a few ravioli for dinner.

Now playing: College football.

I have not been to the Christmas markets. I would love to do a river cruise and visit several.

I have been to Bavaria; I lived in Munich my first year of university. I've also been to several areas in Austria. The towns in both are just charming!

You have been blessed Lil, what a fantastic uni experience that must have been, so many fairytale cities and villages in that part of the world. Hope you do your river cruise to revisit some of your favourite places.

I went to supper with R, my civil engineer buddy. He tooken a continuing ed class this afternoon on ADA design requirements, so I told him some of how that shit works out in the field and the fuck-ups the guys make in building it all wrong. He was shocked that Wat knew all the hard numbers that he had a hard time remembering.

The first wife and I used to graze at Pizza Hut routinely. They did have a good salad bar once upon a time. Some of the stores do have an all you can eat lunch buffet these days. Good to gorge, but not enough to keep coming back for.

Yes!! I loved the salad bar at our local Hut!!
They had these crunchy little round things on the salad bar. SO yummy!! Never learned what they were... tried looking. Closest I could find were Palfrey Wheat Berries (not available in the US - Indian company)...

Haven’t been to one in years…not because I haven’t wanted to but all of them closed anywhere near me. If I spy one on the next road trip minus SWMBO…

Always had some onions, butter, and a bit of flour in the food pack when hunting a day's wheel off the highway. A little fresh caribou or moose liver and onions was a nice meal.

I have been really busy! Only my friend showed up today but we got about half of those lights up like the boss babes we are! My helper comes tomorrow. He and I will work on the rest. IDK if it will be done by tomorrow or not. We'll see!
