Morning all anyone making tea

My hubs loved Pizza Hut pan pizza! Then, I decided to try making pizza. We never got a Pizza Slut (what he called it!) pie again!

If anyone's stuck on a present idea for me...

My mom would make liver and onions. I hated it!

She was very controlling and thought she could make me eat things I just won't. I would continue to get the same plate, cold out of the refrigerator, for several days. I'm as strong willed as she was so just sat at the table refusing to eat. After 3 or 4 days, my dad would make her throw the old food away.

We had the same fight over other foods.

Although my parents could be that way at times, the rule was you had to take one bite. If you didn’t like it, there was peanut butter and jam. It helped me to acquire a more robust appreciation of foods. At least we avoided the stubborn stand offs.

The tree and other decorations don't go up until day after Thanksgiving. So, I'm technically following what you do.

I was at my sisters house yesterday and saw she had Christmas decorations out doors up! I politely asked why not after Thanksgiving. She said it was the weather forecast. That made sense as the forecast is for snow on Thanksgiving here.

I'm doubting if we will have a tree this year. We won't be home until the evening of 19 Dec. And, we should be heading to the cabin on Dec 26.

I understand and say why put one up if you won’t be around to enjoy it.

Oh my. I fell asleep about 8 pm and slept soundly until 3 am. I and the old dog got up about the same time.

I am starting to feel drowsy so I bid the 3 am club good night.

Yes!! I loved the salad bar at our local Hut!!
They had these crunchy little round things on the salad bar. SO yummy!! Never learned what they were... tried looking. Closest I could find were Palfrey Wheat Berries (not available in the US - Indian company)...

I find with the insecure in positions of authority it's either this... or what I call the Junkyard Dog. Hoards information and barks like crazy if anyone comes near their territory.

I have been really busy! Only my friend showed up today but we got about half of those lights up like the boss babes we are! My helper comes tomorrow. He and I will work on the rest. IDK if it will be done by tomorrow or not. We'll see!

It does and such an amazing place. He has a senior menu and one with old fashion sandwiches like, roast turkey, beef or meatloaf. They are like the way my Army cook Dad made.

My father in law was an Army cook and he was a fantastic cook.

Up. Coffee. It's Mom's 93rd today. Not too many of the 1932 models left. There be leftovers for brekkies and then a trip outta here to go to see the B-day Gurl. Spent some Quality Time with TDK this morning.


If I ever am allowed to spend some quality time with Likes2, I intend to post something to mark the occasion like: "I'm hangin' with Likes2 and you're not. Envy me, bitches!!!"

It was actually never spoken of in our parts. There was one a bit away, but why would you do that when you had Nicolas pizzeria right in town?

And Scuzzeris a town over. And various other places around our county, rural as it was.

It was great living in the pizza belt.
