If you have a lot of swelling, prednisone may help. You would have to take a course of about 5 days. If you decide to do this, I would urge you to see a provider who can get eyes on your legs. Do you have remote provider availability?

I have already... whatever going on, I think is beyond that.
I'm using my arms to move the leg for the last couple days (this coming from a 60 year old that is still agile and flexible enough to stand up and get dressed, one leg at a time, socks included, even on a boat that's rolling around.

The more you can move your leg, the sooner the swelling can resolve. Can you put weight on your leg?

I'm having smoked salmon, avocado, halloumi, beetroot, boiled eggs, olives and watercress with homemade tsatsiki..
(I'm allergic to tomatoes).

Wow. That sounds very European! When visiting Scotland, we had similar large breakfasts. It’s a great way to start the day.

I've had a busy few days! Baking for Thanksgiving and getting outside lights up. My friend came earlier this week and we did the lights that required ladders. Today, I finished outside. Here's a pic of some:



Then, I came in and started on the tree. I managed to get the tree up, the tracks for the train around the tree, and the new light-up angel on top. There may have been a bit of grumbling and/or swearing as I was doing all this!





I also got my wreaths up and unpacked one box of decorations. Just eleventy billion more boxes to go!

I'm caught up here for now. Everyone have a great weekend. Those of you in the arctic blast zone, stay safe and warm. ️

Lovely. It reminds me of how my late wife celebrated Christmas. It was her special event.

My wonderful senior dog of 17 years is showing his senility. Until yesterday, I could let him out in the back yard which is not fenced, and the hedges and bushes would keep him from leaving the yard. The leaves have dropped and yesterday he became confused and wondered off into the neighbors yard then into another residential street. Fortunately a neighbor found him shivering and called me.

Then he tried to do it again but this time I caught him. His senility is overwhelmed his normal sense to stay close to home. For his own safety, I need him on a leash.

Some of our senior parents or young grandchildren are like that.

They may send us to port in a day or two, depending on Cameron LA or Galveston TX will decide if I can be seen.
I'm really leaning toward the idea that I somehow managed to find up and hit the lymphatic system.
You're fairly aware of my pain tolerance and this is not good. Lol
