Morning, Afternoon, and Evening everyone! Trouble has returned and her whole schedule is off obviously.
I hope everyone has been well but I know with this time of year and how life effects people that may not be the case.
I've missed being on and everyone of you. I'm hoping my travels may be by car to work and maybe to the store.
I'll be on as much as I can to reconnect with everyone. I had trouble sleeping in this pointy hat. And I'm now the queen of a small enclave of Mommastan. Please don't ask how that happened.
I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season for whatever you celebrate, or don't celebrate.

It’s not real food. It’s awful especially the green. The local grocer has dried real citrus fruit which is passable but I love the cherries and apricots.

Yeah. That fake candied citrus peel is just nasty!

I baked the sugar cookies and began the edible Christmas Tree. I will post a picture when done.

Can't wait to see it! I'm having a cookie baking day with the kids. I've already bought frosting paint. I'm thinking we'll make sugar cookies to frost and decorate. Maybe gingerbread men.

My cake has more fruits and nuts than sugar in the batter.

I thought I was gonna be in Dire Straits. Not the band, but have a bad blood draw. I had two straight weeks of business travel, eating shit, drinking too much, etc.

Had my best numbers since I’ve been seeing this doctor for four years. As long as you’re eating healthy, in general I’ll bet everything will be fine!

I went in to my Dr's office yesterday to get my blood drawn in preparation for my appointment with him next week. The young phlebotomist is very good and so sweet. She knows me and what a hard stick I am. She usually is able to draw my blood no problem.

Welllllll, yesterday I was a problem. She ended up having to stick me 4 times. She wanted to stop after 2 but I didn't want to have to come back so I convinced her to keep going. The first two sticks, I just turned away and let her do her thing. By the third one, I'm helping her. We could both feel the vein but when she advanced, it disappeared. On the last one she put on a hot pack then I spanked the hell out of the back of my hand. The veins popped up, together we chose one, she went for it, and SUCCESS!

Sometimes my body just annoys the fuck out of me!

The tribe made it in from out west, albeit a day late due to delays. Granddaughter was cranky but after a nap started decorating the tree. Momma behaved for once. SWMBO made a pot roast and honestly it felt like Thanksgiving come late.

Dreary day so good day to knock out some laundry. Everyone have a great day!
