Back when my grandfather was on the farm during WWII, they had to make a trip to town, about 10 miles. I remember him telling me tubes were hard to get, and too expensive anyway. They fixed the same flat tire 11 times the way there and back. Hand jack, hand pump, maybe a tire iron.

On the way home I got rear ended by a girl who probably slid on the wet pavement. I'm fine and there's no obvious damage to my mid-sized SUV. Her little Hyundai, however, did not fare so well. I'll take it into the dealership probably next week for them to check it over. I already talked with the girl's mom. They seem like normal, sane people so I'm not anticipating any problems.
I forgot to post this spectral moon shot I got last night. It was cloudy and the moon was playing peek-a-boo!
