I don't. I remember 50 because the family had a surprise party and hired a belly dancer. The belly dancer was underwhelming which was probably for the best.

My wife reported to me that she and her best friend have confessed to each other, that they're growing tired of Hallmark Christmas shows. It's the end of times, I used to get the cold shoulder when I made casual fun of their themes-- - -"Will they be making snow-angels? Do actors in HM shows have to know how to ice skate? How many cookie recipes do they have to know to star in a HM movie?" I'm not even scratching the surface on repeated themes.

Ok sort of relaxing. My sister showed up on time we walked atound a craft show. Came home and frosted cookies next door.... mine are waaaayyyy better... they are super thick and they put nutmeg in the... and thez dont chill so you have to brush the flour off them after tge bake.... it was fun to frost them

It's hard to keep your body in sync when you're switching from nights to days. I did that weekly when I was in grad school. I had one 24 hour day/week because I was working full time and going to school full time.

Just imagine going into a meeting with potential investors and pitching the scripts for some of these shows. My favorite is writing the original idea down to pitch the Spongebob Show.
Investors: What's your idea?
Writers: Okay, the main character is a sponge and his best friend is a dopey starfish, they're hilarious.
Investors: ??
Writers: Wait, it gets better, the sponge, Bob, works as a short-order cook at a restaurant, frying burgers for this cantankerous owner named, Mr Crabbe.
Investors: Where does it happen, can we do Leavenworth?
Writers: No, no, it's on the bottom of the ocean with all this trash lying around.
Investors: Could we do Leavenworth, just have it underwater?
Writers: ??
Investors: Where's the tension for the show?
Writers: Well, we could maybe write-in a miserable Squid to add some drama.
Investors: Sounds good, how much do you need?

Took her to the oncologist yesterday and got the good news! Very relived! We took the last of the nut cake to my uncle and spent some time with him. He gave us the thumbs up of approval so after all these yeas we might havre finally nailed the old recipe down.

Had some lunch down at the beach and all in all had a great day. Hope all made it through Monday…it was a good one for us!

This looks like Leavenworth! It's a little Bavarian-like town in central WA. They have Christmas pretty much year round there!

I showed her your snow villages and she LOVED it! Especially the ski hill!

She is sick she can’t set up her snow villages (she inherited a couple from two sisters plus what she’s collected) this year. Two reasons…she physically can’t do it this year and a very inquisitive two yr old is living with her! I thought about just setting it up myself, but might punt on that…

About ten yrs ago, mid summer, I was waiting on an airline home.

Flight was delayed so this guy and I start yapping. Turns out he’s with the Hallmark Channel and they were filming locally. He introduced me to the head of the Hallmark Channel or maybe head of production…Somebody Hoawk? Used to be the president of the Screen Actors Guild at one time.

Nice enough guys. Once they found out I was a local, they hit me up for all the Sushi joints!

What were they filming you ask? A Christmas Movie! . I’ll have to go look for the name…
