Buy. It!
It dawned on me, I'm "hearing" someone tell me that I cannot. I identified it - that it's there - and I am pulling its larynx out . . . .

Buy. It!
Are you trying to decide which one? Or which one you'll buy first?![]()
You're home now and it's the weekend. I hope you get some time for relaxation.![]()
Same in Nursing. I worked 12s when I did bedside. There were shifts I never sat down, went to the bathroom, ate... But, I didn't do that 5-6 days/week.
Overall, today was a very good day! I did wake up early. 0730!Showered, dressed while waiting to see if my appointment could be made virtual. Turns out, it could! It was pushed back to 1000 and was a good visit. I really like this dr. He's very good at explaining things. Sometimes I let him, sometimes I remind him I'm a CC nurse!
After the call, I went out to run a few errands. While I was out, the cabinet guy called to let me know he was still working on the pull out drawers and doors. (WTAF????) He was supposed to have done that yesterday, knowing he was to finish the install today. Time management is not his friend. He's now coming tomorrow. At 0800. No, 0830. Um..., let's make it 0900.I told him he BETTER be here at 0900 because if I wake up early for him and he doesn't show for hours, I will be ANGRY! Then we will have a conversation! No one wants that!
Just after I got home, my friend rolled up. We cleaned out the guest room closet today. I wish I had taken a "before" picture.Imagine, if you will, a hoarders 'lite.' That was my closet. I had 6 large storage totes full of stuff I hadn't looked at in decades! Also had a shelf full of junk and empty boxes. You know... GOOD boxes! The kind one might want someday. The fact that I have neither wanted or needed them for eons not withstanding!
We cleaned out all 6 totes and 2 large cardboard boxes. Found lots of treasures I forgot I had. Threw a lot of stuff away. It feels so good! We're not completely done but it's in a place where I can finish it myself.
We also cleaned out my collection of purses in my closet. I used to love purses and bought nice leather ones with lots of pockets. My friend left with 3 large bags of purses. I don't use one now most of the time. I just use my phone.
I'm starting to feel much lighter! My goal for 2026 is to completely declutter my house. I do not want my nephew to have to do that.
On that note, it's time for this tired girl to get to bed.![]()
“oh lawd, she was lovey dovey…”You'll be lucky AF if you get the Front Rent.
“oh lawd, she was lovey dovey…”
And give it a new name.I think that chain could proper fuck a glass of ice water.
I wonder how good he cleans. Good luck with him getting moved out. It reminds me of a barn rented out to a plumber which ended up similar to your situation. The stuff finally got moved over to a corn crib and was still there years later.Just venting…
The kid who leased space at my farm is as reliable as a rain dance and is as disorganized as the three stooges without the comedic effect.
He hasn’t paid me since June so in August, I terminated the lease and gave him 90 days notice, per the lease. This was after 3 years of him not paying rent on time and me noodging him for rent on a monthly basis. And his house clean out business just filling up our old stone mill…
He says he’ll be out in October anyway, but I say he technically has till November 15 per the lease. Cuz I’m too nice.
Beginning of November, he says he’ll need an extra week. I say OK, because I don’t want to be stuck with all of his house clean out shit which is basically just junk. Cuz I’m too nice.
Then he says he needs one more week. I tell him December 1. He’s obviously yes -ing me to death, the last week of November most of this shit is still there.
He keeps on going on, but I have a contractor who is moving his shit in on Monday… and more than anything I don’t want to be stuck moving HIS shit out. Now he says he needs till Tuesday or Wednesday and he needs to hire a dumpster. (No shit!) this probably means Thursday.
To complicate things he’s the son of one of my best friends. I am so done w this guy. He has fucked me over since day one and I will be glad when he’s fucking gone and all of his junk with him.
Just venting. First world problems. It will be over soon. New tenant says waiting till next week to move in is fine for him to move stuff in…
And give it a new name.
Ah—gwah
Daughter… who I thought brought up right: "I’ll have an iced steamed evaporated ah-gwah with oat milk… hold the cellular neurohistory and just a touch of polymer Endomanipulated Process Theory.”
Me: large black coffee, please.
I need more information on your treatment system to answer definitively. However I suspect like most household treatment systems the first step in treatment is to remove sediment and suspend particles. If not, the remaining part of treatment will get clogged and not perform as it should.B2 if you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a question. I failed state and federal guidelines for PFOA/PFOS. I've had a dual filtration system as well as two brine tanks installed filtering water from the well. Would that also filter sediment? And everything else or are those filters Just geared for those forever chemicals?
Need that laugh, Om!!
I think your handy man hired my (ex) tenant. They have a rep for aggressive sales... but that's also Red Flag #1 for "How to Identify a Scammer".
They have a good rep for their products, varies on their customer service, and pricing tends to be 3-5x higher than the competition.
Full disclosure: I've not yet replaced my windows... but have decided 100% not to have the handyman do that job.![]()
It’s a good’un.I just added this to my Prime watch list! Thanks for the recce!
