What??Overall, today was a very good day! I did wake up early. 0730!Showered, dressed while waiting to see if my appointment could be made virtual. Turns out, it could! It was pushed back to 1000 and was a good visit. I really like this dr. He's very good at explaining things. Sometimes I let him, sometimes I remind him I'm a CC nurse!
After the call, I went out to run a few errands. While I was out, the cabinet guy called to let me know he was still working on the pull out drawers and doors. (WTAF????) He was supposed to have done that yesterday, knowing he was to finish the install today. Time management is not his friend. He's now coming tomorrow. At 0800. No, 0830. Um..., let's make it 0900.I told him he BETTER be here at 0900 because if I wake up early for him and he doesn't show for hours, I will be ANGRY! Then we will have a conversation! No one wants that!
Just after I got home, my friend rolled up. We cleaned out the guest room closet today. I wish I had taken a "before" picture.Imagine, if you will, a hoarders 'lite.' That was my closet. I had 6 large storage totes full of stuff I hadn't looked at in decades!
Wait, what? Also had a shelf full of junk and empty boxes. You know... GOOD boxes! The kind one might want someday.
Whaaaat? The fact that I have neither wanted or needed them for eons not withstanding!
We cleaned out all 6 totes and 2 large cardboard boxes. Found lots of treasures I forgot I had. Threw a lot of stuff away. It feels so good! We're not completely done but it's in a place where I can finish it myself.
We also cleaned out my collection of purses in my closet.
That sounds like a good day! Getting rid of and purging stuff always feels good!!I used to love purses and bought nice leather ones with lots of pockets. My friend left with 3 large bags of purses. I don't use one now most of the time. I just use my phone.
I'm starting to feel much lighter! My goal for 2026 is to completely declutter my house. I do not want my nephew to have to do that.
On that note, it's time for this tired girl to get to bed.![]()
Or ask Uncle in the Plumbing Business to call on him!Sounds like he's not going to pay you unless he's "encouraged" to do so. Got any friends of friends?
Love that!!We had so much fun. My granddaughter frosted her sugar cone tree, placed sprinkles on it, then promptly licked all of it off !. We laughed at her and her green food coloring mouth which had a big grin.
See my comment on Starbucks burnt bitter coffee! Yech!
You took the words right out of my mouth after reading Lilli’s post! WhatA very thorough report!
What??
Wait, what?
Whaaaat?

Annnnd, That's why it pays to shop around!Marvin quoted me forty thousand so that's gonna be out of the ballpark. What's nice?Is these are retro windows? So the frame stays you just do the side tracking and the windows themselves. The windows in there now are single pain. Two hundred series, their thirty nine years old.So when I popped them out reinsulate, caulk, the sides and the windows slide in takes twenty to twenty five minutes to replace the windows. If I had a go with marvin full frame, that means ripping out all the frames and everything. But I understand what you're talking about.
The thirty nine year old andersons are still in good shape. No rotting. I've taken out the existing windows already to replace the.Retention springs in the top header. So with this, it's just screws caulking and popping them in.
She's doing a lot better now, but for a couple of years things were really rough for her. She left a very abusive relationship, with kids in tow. Starting from scratch with mouths to feed, etc. I'm really proud of her for what she's accomplished since then.I'm glad you're able to help your friend who really needs it. Times are hard now. I suspect things will get worse before they get better.

One word: fire.
There was this guy who hung out with my dad for years. He was a character, and I swear I should write a book about him.
His back story was, at age 15, he was clearing a spot of land with a mule. His dad was riding his ass, so he rode said mule into town and joined the US Marine Corps. His mom signed him over as the recruiter said he was too young. Ended up as the first wave of Marines to hit Iwo Jima. Survived the month long fighting, but during the closing stages, gets hit and left his right arm on the island. That’s another story for another time…
Anyhow…he owned a small trailer park on the way to the beach. Had a couple of tenants who wouldn’t pay rent and were protected by the system…
Since he lived there, he knew the comings and going of said tenants, and one night as they left…he fixed his problem using the one word system.![]()
And give it a new name.
Ah—gwah
Daughter… who I thought brought up right: "I’ll have an iced steamed evaporated ah-gwah with oat milk… hold the cellular neurohistory and just a touch of polymer Endomanipulated Process Theory.”
Me: large black coffee, please.
System was installed by portusoft for pressure gauges, as well as five shutoff.Valves, the water comes in through the well.Goes through the first filter which is about four and a half by twenty inches. It then proceeds in through a brine tank with crushed coconut.Shells, it then passes through the second brine tank with crushed coconut.Shells.Then, through the final four and a half by twenty inch filter before it goes into the water.Softener and then into the system.I need more information on your treatment system to answer definitively. However I suspect like most household treatment systems the first step in treatment is to remove sediment and suspend particles. If not, the remaining part of treatment will get clogged and not perform as it should.
Feel free to DM about this more.
Got that stuck in your head huh?NO NO NO NO

In the shower, you're getting maybe 130F??? 120 most likely.I always boil my water if using a neti pot. In the shower, the water is already hot.
I know you nurses get some long shifts, too.Same in Nursing. I worked 12s when I did bedside. There were shifts I never sat down, went to the bathroom, ate... But, I didn't do that 5-6 days/week.
