I am.at my parents. I just fed them some date walnut bread and i have to go and get chicken broth for the newxengland clam chowder we r having for dinner

I sort of adjust it so my renal failure dad can eat it. Low sodium i cut the clam broth with no sodium chicken broth. I have to soak the potatoes to leach out the potassium... etc
I thicken with arrowroot because the roux messes with his blood sugar..... it is a pain but he likes it

That bit in bold? It's a travesty, an injustice, and a motherfucking outrage. We prefer that Our Potassium be unleached.

Whats a Tortie cat look like?

Mottled three color. Calicos look like paint horses. Torties look like funky camo patterns.

The orientation of the coloring. Calicos look like paint horses. Torties look like a military camo pattern, like smaller blotches here and there. Either way, they often have white mittens.

After Friday and yesterday morning, I decided today was "Fuck Chores and Errands" Day. A holiday gift to myself.

Got up early and read for a while, then took a nap while my PT ran. Two birds, one stone.

I made mini pumpkin waffles. Shape, not flavor.
Healthy waffles - with protein powder, ground flaxmeal, and hemp hearts. Served with a teeny bit of butter on top, but no syrup.
And coffee... yummy, yummy coffee!
(Also fortified with a liquid collagen & whey protein supplement - makes it taste lightly sweetened)
A delightful day overall
