I did the same. I had a rough night of sleep and was up twice for at least an hour.

But I went back to sleep around 6:30 and slept till almost 10!

I was planning on getting a few extra groceries but the roads are quite snow covered and slippery. I use consider it a challenge. Not anymore. I have food. And I don’t need to navigate around idiot drivers. So I am staying put until tomorrow.

Speaking of ACRs…when I was at Bliss, there was a Trade-A-Plane laying around the ready room. Somebody had a flyable F-mod AH-1 (not fully functioning as the Montana guys) for sale for a cool 6 million dollars. That was over 30 yrs ago…wonder what one would fetch now?

Raining, granddaughter duty, and I’ve been tasked to cook tonight. I think it’s going to be a football hunker down day. Everyone enjoy the remains of the weekend.

That’s cool. The old cobras were so badass looking. Did you fly them? Or apaches? Both are badass.

I think the Merkava is diesel powered. It sure sounded like that in the video. I guess I could Google it, but it sounded like an old school diesel. The four of us are thinking about doing a boys weekend in Vegas. I think there’s a tank museum out there. Plus, we can shoot automatic weapons at some places, even though it’s really expensive.

We’ll see.

Yeah, I paid $750 for this Russian Tula Arsenal one. It was obviously professionally refurbished by the russkies… it was in really nice shape - Red birch I think. I didn’t take any pics today tho.
