Finally caught up... and it's bedtime
So - fleeting comments but no actual catch up per se

Meyer Lemons - the dainty debutante of lemons. Can make anything w/ them that you would with a lemon... they tend to have a lighter, less tangy taste, are physically smaller, and their skins are thinner. Personally, I'd use a regular lemon for most everything but if I wanted a twist or curl, Meyer Lemon skins lend themselves better to that task.

Earthquakes - yikes! Be safe. If you had a good shaking, consider pros/cons of having your structure and foundation inspected just in case.

Freezing Rain - The year my auntie in Mississippi was without power for 2 weeks after an ice storm was the year they got a generator. Had to wait until the following summer to find any in stock, but that was the push.

Snow vs Cold:
My area really needs the snow for Spring thaw and drought issues. But as @dkak001 pointed out - you don't have to shovel cold. 🤷‍♀️

@Wonderer67 - 🤞 for tomorrow's procedure. Don't be a hero - it's okay to say, "fuck this" and call out of work for self-care. Be good to yourself!

He's a good looking horse, and he seems intelligent and curious and very skittish of people. Like something mean happened when he was younger and he now has Trust Issues. He's been around for a month or so. He won't let the farrier do his feet. Holding out an arm makes him turn and wander off. So the landlady decided to spend some quite quality time with him, starting yesterday. Food, a stall, sitting, letting him have some oats and she talks softly to him. That was yesterday for 15 minutes. He shoots the goats who inquire about his oats. Nothing rough. Today, she got to touch is jaw for a few rubs while he snacked. Another 15 minutes or so. Piece at a time. This will happen 5 days a week - she has two 16-hour days per week. I have my fingers crossed.
