Check back with me in the summer when it is too F-ing hot and humid. Three digit temps and dewpoint in the 90s. Did I mention hurricanes with twisters and storm surge of 18'.Rub it in![]()
Glad everyone and everything is OK.
We have 5.6 in New Jersey about two years ago for someone who’s only been into earthquakes in my life, it was a hell of a thing…
Same down here. I recall in basic training the DI telling us a hot cup of coffee helped you cool off because you sweated more. He was out in the hot sun as much as we were.
She was only one minute late
I do recall taking the snow blower and making a path around the yard so the dog would have a place to get a run in. 30" is the most I remember and it took a few days for the snow plows to get to our house. They had to bring in back hoes to clear some of the roads because of drifts etd.Morning denizens of the diner. It’s hunker down weekend. The temperature goes down into single digits. My old dog does his duty very quickly. No messing around as it is too damn cold.
Stay safe. The storm system is messing with more than 25 states!.
BTW beware of stupid ill prepared folks.
Yes you do have other dangerous weather we don’t have. Enjoy it!Check back with me in the summer when it is too F-ing hot and humid. Three digit temps and dewpoint in the 90s. Did I mention hurricanes with twisters and storm surge of 18'.
No wonder you moved south.I do recall taking the snow blower and making a path around the yard so the dog would have a place to get a run in. 30" is the most I remember and it took a few days for the snow plows to get to our house. I have the motor home so I can abandon ship. We came down here in the winter a few times and if I had to do it over again I would have kept the cabin in Pa and brought the motorhome down here in the winter.Yes you do have other dangerous weather we don’t have. Enjoy it!
Egg sandwiches to be precise.... with a slice of TP..... and a glass of milk.
Thats why we hate F'n snow and ice...... its the diet.
Be safe all !
Someone needs a hug.Morning

YepSomeone needs a hug.![]()
You said duty…G'night and rest well, Brother!
Have you ever heard the term "light duty?"
Not to be naggin' on ya or anything...![]()
There is good and bad with everything. I don't know if I would do it again. There is something very satisfying about sitting in front of a nice warm fire and looking a the snow out the window. No wonder you moved south.
Oh, my bad. Want it back?![]()
Not a great boss!![]()
Yes, go early and get a second and third opinion. I had a small lump in my neck and my family doc and a VA doc shrugged it off. I went to a ENT and two days later I was in surgery and a week later I was in surgery again after the first surgery healed.2 days in the hospital with my X; 6 levels of fusion in the C spine; glad it went well. I learned this: if you wait too long to tell your doc, they may not operate.
She's the poodle whisperer!
Gotcha..........I wont go to the VA ever again.Yes, go early and get a second and third opinion. I had a small lump in my neck and my family doc and a VA doc shrugged it off. I went to a ENT and two days later I was in surgery and a week later I was in surgery again after the first surgery healed.
Punctuation is your friend. Embrace it.
Yeah, we start to get it tomorrow...as long as we don't lose power!!! Although, lots of firewood ready!
