The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good Morning spoonies....
It's my next to the last day to be 100% moved in to my new home location.
Just a few more boxes... about 22 and assorted junk we can't seem to live without...
With the help of friends. 2 cars and a pickup truck. God willing, we will be done by Wednesday

Because this Brutal cold is going to be the death of me. I'll be 72 in 3 weeks. I'd like to see it.

More coffee please!

Subaru is button start. I hate it.

Can't start the car without sitting in it, pressing the brake then hitting the button. Them waiting 5 minutes for everything to boot up.

Of course the brand new Subaru driver's side window won't roll up in this weather. And the dealership is several hours drive each way! 🤬
Need to call to see if there's a TSB on it. I know they've had one for the exact same problem with the 2020 models...

The truck is a "key" start. You know, the plastic thingie that goes in and turns an' shit. ETM.

The Prius is a fob-n-button thingie. Sit in the seat push the brake, pray to Allah, push the button, and with a hybrid, who knows what it's doing, and argue with it to get it into gear, perhaps causing Saint Wat to call it a cunt.

Anvils have keys and the starter switch is activated on the carburetor. Kids can't start them and thing that lever on the column is the shifter for the slushbox tranny, missing that third pedal entirely.

I despise my job
That sucks, I can speak from experience. As we used to say, "Make a plan." which was at the company I retired from, more or less. They fired me first because I wouldn't take a position they wanted me to fill. I was vested in my retirement so I was good. The "Make a plan" was more or less, "Plan your escape" Do what you can to get out of the postion or place you are in now. I know I know. I am a genius!!

I can relate to the window not going up. I was up in the mountains, a hundred miles or so away from home hunting. It started to snow and my pickup window would not go up. I ended up pulling the door panel off and pushing the window up and then I cut a sapling and jamed it in to keep the window up. It was a Silverado and was under warranty. The dealer ship was not a lot of help so I ended up pulling the motor apart and fixing it myself. The brushes were sticking!

This is just a little bit of me patting myself on the back!

I hated mine when I was working. I had to fire people l liked. Tough being a supervisor.
I hate that every fucking day i argue with people instead of having a simple conversation. They refuse to see what is right in front of their face because of ego and straight up pure laziness..... if it doesnt affect me do what u want but when we are reporting metrics to vp and u do half ass work that skews the metrics, i have a big fucking problem with it..... mother fuckers
