Very nice!I plucked about 20 of them out of this box of 250. Here are some of the “gems”, or just shit that made me laugh.
I keyed on Art of Noise first... but enjoyed Max when it was on tv, tooOooo Max Headroom
Could have some money makers in there... never knowVinyl is actually making a come back
High school Spanish - unused for almost 4 decadesHigh school French. Google can suck my nuggets

We have a jukebox too.Entirely possible. The brother who owns a jukebox would enjoy picking through these with you.Would be fun, but fruitless for me as I've no turntable of any sort. Glad you have the means to listen to the ones you like
It has a loose wire or fuse somewhere.Glitchy how? And do you want to refurb it?

And although they were LARGE, the designs were appealing as well. I fell in love with my grandparents' radio from the 1930s or 40s. Cabinet style, dark wood finish. Gorgeous IMHOI love old electromechanical devices. The way they would have motors interact. Anything they can do I can do a million times more efficiently with a microcontroller and a DSP, but there was an elegance to those old machines

As far north as we are I thought it was the Atlantic. The front off the Jersey coast directed or rather led the storm. The warm air was coming up from the Gulf of America supported by the sun. As the sun set the rain line receded back south. The warm air is naturally moving with the moisture from the gulf. Only this wall of cold air is heavier and hugs the ground. The snow was pretty intense for most of the morning.
I cleared the driveway in late morning.
It started turning to sleet around 2 PM. I just got back in from clearing the driveway the second time.
I think we only got like 8 to 10 inches.
I still don’t understand how it can be 23° and warmer air is causing the sleet. Like how much further up in the air is that warmer air?
Weird.
Sure does in my book. Glad you got it all cleared but were careful and smart about how you did it.Heavy layer of sleet on top of the snow. I had to break it up like I was using a big hoe so I could move it. Heavy. I think this qualified as heart attack snow.
Ouch. Water before bed - help clear some of the wine. Warm shower and light stretches in the morning to get everything moving again.I took an alieve and am hoping for the best. I can feel it.
Oooook... ibwas trying to put tomato chunks ina roux. I come from a place with redeye gravy, so I wasng judging, just trying to figure how that didn't just become a breaded tomato
I didn't take it as judging... we've had the "what's tomato gravy" question before.Oooook... ibwas trying to put tomato chunks ina roux. I come from a place with redeye gravy, so I wasng judging, just trying to figure how that didn't just become a breaded tomato
My personal theory in it's creation... someone made a mistake, and was too hungry and in need of the coffee to say no to itI didn't take it as judging... we've had the "what's tomato gravy" question before.
Midwest here... never heard red sauce called gravy.
But @Wonderer67 and some others are East Coast and have edumacated us.
He even shared a recipe:
@Wonderer67 's never fail recipe for gravy/marinara sauce/sketti sauce
several spoonies have made his recipe - or one of their own - and "gravy" is mentioned often at the Cafe
I've heard of Red Eye Gravy and know enough that it's different... but have never had it and will be looking it up once I post this.
Lots of food talk - I'm always learning something new about food and cooking here.
Yep. There's a lot of "Oh, fuck! Hey, wait... that's not half bad... what is that?" in the kitchen. My personal theory in it's creation... someone made a mistake, and was too hungry and in need of the coffee to say no to it
