Have to be a corporate Zombieland tomorrow, but my friend is gonna come and clear out the farm yard Friday afternoon.

But then I’ll be fresh out of Firewood at the farm stand again.

I did fill it up today using toboggans.

Busy morning of house cleaning. Then my GF and I had coffee with veggie scrambled eggs with blueberry corn bread. We watched a little news, then comedians and the best, video of a cat and husky sparring.

I was going to take the day off shoveling and cook some more of the stuff I bought so I could leave the car in the garage. So far I am only low on lemons and something to dilute my tomato gravy. I put a whole TB of pepper flakes because last time it had no kick.
As I was kind of awake but not enough pressure to make me get up and pee I could hear a bobcat. They finally came to dig us out. He did a surprisingly good job. Maybe because I went out. All the parking spaces I helped clear had people out to work so I pushed what was left out for the plow. Many don't do the sidewalk in front of their house so I did. the guy on the end near the mailboxes doesn't know heavy snow will disable you. So I re-dug their trucks out and chipped the ice off their front walk. I cleared a wide path to the mailboxes and chipped and dug through the snow plow bank so the mailwoman can get to the mail boxes. Dug out our fire hydrant which may have tweaked my back a bit. Plow boulders are heavier than they look. Met a neighbor that has lived here 30 years. I had seen him but he never really speaks. He stopped and talked today. He assumes most a renters and he doesn't need to know him. I asked if he knew who stole his parking space that he cleaned rather well. He found another but leaves about 9am daily for chemo and radiation. We had him back out and cleaned his space well. I offered my driveway while he was waiting on a space if he got stranded again. What do people on chemo and radiation like to eat? He is single and I never saw some one visit. I could spatchcock him a chicken that's easy. I'd use part of it to make broth if it was mine, but I don't think he knows how to do that. Implied he doesn't cook much even though he's retired.
My hands won't warm up today. But in early from shoveling because it looks actually done for now. I can't stop eating. But only bagels 3 bean salad with pomegranate and corn, and way too many cookies. I gave a dozen to the neighbor that fed me yesterday and since I was plowed the woman and child stopped by and grabbed half what was left, a jar of gravy and left disappointed I haven't cooked the ham yet. Soon a cornish hen I have had in brine is going on charcoal. Watch the sunset.

I can’t get my tractor started. Too cold. Used either and all but I’ll just kill the battery.

We have another weekend of a foot of sneaux in the foresk . . . forecast. Manglement is set on st000pid over this. We have five crews coming into town for Our Little Project, from out of town, from the south. Yeah. Today was the first day here that things were back to normal from last weekend's white deluge. True, it wasn't as bad as was forecast, but how many times in a row you gonna throw sevens? The subs say, push it off another week. The super says, fuck lying to these people, and the weather will make us liars. Manglement cannot make a fucking decision. Wat has half a mind to call the owner's rep and get a decision.

I'm on the fence. Depends when we get it. And it is heavy and wet not interested. Or one of those that is followed by a sunny 45 or 50 degree day. I could do without that too. When I rented in NJ we had some spring storms like that. Left a foot of water in the basement. Really annoying. Can't walk off the side walk or your foot sinks into mud...
If it is snow and it stays cold and there is not wind. Yea too much to ask. Not sure how much if any snow comes this weekend here. But I am betting the 15-22mph wind forecast is accurate. I feel like that is some kind of punishment. Or maybe I am getting to the point parts of me are showing their age and that is when I ache the most. I'm not old yet.

I told a guy yesterday while on the phone with him that I had ice in my yard, and that I was scared and that I couldn't decide what caliber firearm I needed. It took him twothree seconds to figure that it was frozen water and not gummint whatchacallits.

Maybe start with cookies and then ask?
From my experience, if/when/how much depends on treatment schedule. So stuff that lasts, is easy, and/or freezes well.
But they mostly eat the same stuff they did when healthy.

When grandpa passed in Jan of '84 they couldn't bury him until Spring. Froze grounds.
