Here it is illegal to relocate squirrels too. NJ when I had that problem I drowned them. Late one summer I was standing out in the street chatting with an older neighbor about whatever a squirrel went bebopping along the fence. I referred to it as the east side highway and said I hadn’t seen a squirrel in a while. He laughed and said they were annoying and his wife had it out for them. I said kill them all. He laughed and said they keep 2traps going and she drowns them in the sail tubs. He washed the sails for members of the local sailing club. I said I was at 275. They were well over 600.
I haven’t found a way to dispatch them without upsetting the neighbors here in va. They have a totally different view of them.
I talk to raccoon. For a while years ago I had one that was so brazen it would come up on the deck with me while I ran the gas grill. Now I just see evidence they’ve been by. Squirrels nor raccoon have figured out how to get in my bird feeder. They shred my pots.

I bought a car in LINY in the fall of 2024. \Had supper with the guy after loading the car. Pizza. He gave scraps to the raccoon he fed. It would show up at the back door around dark. He talked to it as he put the food out.

Not sure if Rocky answered him . . . .

Up too damned early. Fixin'ta get ready to hit the road to Weaeeltown, Wiley Nickel and all. Brought in a couple of more of Dr. Tyler's small bits of furniture. The cats love all of them, spending time sitting on each and every one. There is a small piece she used as a bedside table. It has a door and the latch needs to be repaired. The girls opened it and eack got on a shelf inside, and then they started swatting at each other. It was pretty funny.

Don't take any Wiley Nickels . . . .

To no one's surprise, I have overdone it. I think i gave myself a sinus infection. I could not sing the cat's feeding song this morning. I am gonna have a crap day today. But... maybe another glass of ice water will help.

To no one's surprise, I have overdone it. I think i gave myself a sinus infection. I could not sing the cat's feeding song this morning. I am gonna have a crap day today. But... maybe another glass of ice water will help.

Take my suggestions if they keep: warm or hot as you can stand, wash cloths for 10 minutes on then off for 30 minutes; a long steamy shower; and sniff hot steamy liquids. Consult doctors and nurses first meds. Some meds make my heart race. Having empathy of sinus congestion.

A cold drink has helped with some of the "cant take a full breath" issues. I will take a steamy shower when I am a little more capable of standing

Who (restaurant) in your area has the best pork rolls and/or Taylor rolls... and what's the difference?

It is sort of a NJ “thing” to debate whether it’s called “Taylor ham”’or its actual name, pork roll.

It’s a serious debate! It splits neighbors, coworkers, friends and even families.

“Supposebly” (I will tell you this story sometime) most people in South Jersey (the 609) are more prone to call it pork roll. People north of rt 78 tend to call it Taylor ham. Those of us in the glorious state of central Jersey (betw 78 and 195) are mutts and its neighbor v neighbor, friend v friend.

I grew up 20 minority of where I live now, so more north Jersey and I always heard it called pork roll.

It’s a seriously big deal here in Jersey!

There’s a place on Route 57 on Warren county that has really good pork roll sandwiches.

Nearer to me is Gronskis Milk House. Ice cream by night, greasy spoon by day! A classic!

It was there when I came to the city in 1972. It’s a town classic. One of their famous dishes is hippie hash.
