It’s a serious debate! It splits neighbors, coworkers, friends and even families.

“Supposebly” (I will tell you this story sometime) most people in South Jersey (the 609) are more prone to call it pork roll. People north of rt 78 tend to call it Taylor ham. Those of us in the glorious state of central Jersey (betw 78 and 195) are mutts and its neighbor v neighbor, friend v friend.

I grew up 20 minority of where I live now, so more north Jersey and I always heard it called pork roll.

It’s a seriously big deal here in Jersey!

There’s a place on Route 57 on Warren county that has really good pork roll sandwiches.

Nearer to me is Gronskis Milk House. Ice cream by night, greasy spoon by day! A classic!

I felt horrible hitting one with a slingshot one time. Big bubble of blood coming out its head and it couldn’t walk right. Couldn’t find a way to put him out of his misery and just felt like a real jerk. I never saw it again so assumed he became someone’s lunch. Retired the sling shot. When I started out I figured I’d never hit anything with it.

I caught a fish through the eye the eye popped out and the fish swam on its side on top the water and i couldnt reach it with the net to dispatch it...i felt terrible

Friday valentines did surf n turf. Boat load of scallops and new your strips. And got lucky and found green beans. Her favorite.
Saturday chicken Marsala with Sauvignon blanc so we’d drink hat didn’t make it in the gravy. Tried some new tricks on the mash potatoes that I put them over. Amazing that before mashing add em back to the pan with low heat no lid. Stir some to dehydrate. Then add the bit of cream sour cream salt and pepper, stir. Mash as little as possible and the potato flavor stayed intact.
Rained all the salt off the roads here today.

We also kept up international sports relations by cheering on the Italian and Swedish Women’s Curlers. Be still my beating heart! 😍. The wife could only laugh and roll her eyes!🙄🤣

Yes it did, but I rarely get those anymore. After nearly 60 yrs I’ve finally found the wherewithal to pull the plug early! Took me long enough. Now if we be throw’n darts…sometimes I can’t help myself.

Taskmasters are tasking these last two days. They’re not letting up tomorrow either…and that’s go home day😡. Bastages…

The above statement of the worst Monday is the Tuesday after a long weekend…yeah…I’m feeling it.

Have a great start to the week otherwise. Now some Icelandic Z…
