It is Tuesday already? I better get more coffee.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (NATO phonetic alphabet)
Dad owned a restaurant in a working man’s area and always made the coffee in an 1960s coffee maker. He also had the first cup. After school I helped out. He always made me a true malted milk shake as reward! I miss those times.I always like to catch the first cup right out of the basket into my cup then slide the pot back under. It isn't espresso but pretty close.
Sounds great. I may have to go get one today!Dad owned a restaurant in a working man’s area and always made the coffee in an 1960s coffee maker. He also had the first cup. After school I helped out. He always made me a true malted milk shake as reward! I miss those times.
Even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while.... that is what i say about myselfI get a bit of wood on the ball from time to time.
You can get a retro one at Target. I am sure there are other stores too. Post a pic when you get one.Sounds great. I may have to go get one today!
I like those wilderness package editions.I've had a Sube Xtrek with a CVT since 2015. That one had a 2000 cc engine and it didn't seem that gutless passing, but I'm on Alaskan roads. This new wilderness rig has a 4.11 final drive ratio which will make the thing a LOT zippier over the standard models with the 3.70 final drive.
The CVT is just like a snowmachine belt drive.
Wonder if adding something rough to the pointer finger would help...something finger printyI like those wilderness package editions.
Compared to the 5.0L V-8 with towing package in a relatively light truck, the Subaru seems slow. A lot of other brands are pushing performance, with similar size vehicles at over 250HP. This is it about 180HP. It's a perfectly fine car, it's just not built or designed for performance. Part of why we chose it, that longevity over performance. It's like the honda quads we have, they're way under powered for the displacement. It's why they last forever.
We needed an appliance to get us from point A to point B. The only upgrade was an aftermarket set of rims with blizzak tires for winter. That did make a big difference.
The only thing I don't like about the Subaru is EVERYTHING is on the touch screen. Make it impossible to adjust the heat or settings with gloves on.
Indeed, that was a big consideration for me. But, it will live in a heated garage and have a remote start for otherwise. I won't need gloves with the heated steering wheel. I will make due.the touch screen
Great tires, but I will get a set of studded tires for winter. If I lived down on the flat, blizzaks would be dandy, but on the mountainside, studded tires are the smart bet.blizzak tires
No, you need to have a Slim Jim beef stick to touch the screen with.Wonder if adding something rough to the pointer finger would help...something finger printy
Oh meeting with new manager would be great without an idiot i work with that calls her annie and not ann which is her nameFuck today and most of yesterday.

HahahaNo, you need to have a Slim Jim beef stick to touch the screen with.
I like the way you thinkHahaha
Maybe the most annoying thing is the delay in touching a 'button' and the computer actually responding. Sometimes you don't know if you hit it, or it's just taking it's sweet old time responding. I've seen the delay be several seconds. Then suddenly you hear "beep, beep, beep, beep" and the setting it still off. Usually it's worse after startup/booting the display. But still annoying as fuck!Indeed, that was a big consideration for me. But, it will live in a heated garage and have a remote start for otherwise. I won't need gloves with the heated steering wheel. I will make due.
Studs aren't legal on the roads here... So blizzak it is!Great tires, but I will get a set of studded tires for winter. If I lived down on the flat, blizzaks would be dandy, but on the mountainside, studded tires are the smart bet.
