The Administrative State...What Is It?

I cannot think of a single "freedom" Americans are losing due to bureaucracies.

Perhaps you can enlighten us.

That's because your Myopic intellectual depth of field is about 3 inches from your nose and all else is out of focus.

Which government agency does she currently work for?

She was allowed to retire with full benefits and a pension.

We're still paying her.

You really don't pay mush attention to what your half of the government does
yet manage to be constantly outraged by what the other half of government does.

Then she isn't an example.
No clue why you think I'm outraged.

You asked for an example, I gave it, you recognized it, ignored it, moved the goalposts and then demanded I prove something else, which I did so now you're claiming victory....

I'll bite on this.
If these administrative positions are given out by people who are elected, how is that not the will of the people?
Do you have an example of a person who has given one of these positions and couldn't be removed?

Lois Lerner

She was not removed, she was protected, and she profited from her malfeasance.

Well, you know, when you're losing the debate big time on both facts and style, everything's fair.

That's pretty much How AJ does things. After he deflects he runs away.

Which is probably more intelligent than hiding behind an Alt and tossing bombs at people you don't know over specious things on the internet.

I used to think that Sgt Spidey was just Phrodeau when he runs out of snark and switches to obtuse just to be an ass.

I have come around to the view that the good Sgt is, sadly, authentically as he presents.. When I bump into his posts elsewhere he's every bit as awkward, just slightly less smug and superior.

He appears to genuinely believe that he makes sense and that his debate style is valid and effective.

"Your post is a good source of irony." -Liam

That post gets Quoted a lot, so my guess is liam/lace/lance are all the same person, yes?

Liam/Lace/Lance are ancient history that some just can't let go.

Because letting go means they're all alone in the world.

You don't get it. Once you decide to become an accepted member of the elite Bubble, D and Rs don't really matter anymore. They are but a subterfuge in the reelection scheme. At that point one's job isn't about adhering to the informed consent of the people and abiding their political sovereignty, it's about assuming that sovereignty for yourself.
*My career was with a state government criminal justice agency. My state and the agency was highly political till the end oh my career. Truth is, I've always been a radical in the system as much as I tried to adjust and go along.

O.k, the drugs have seemed to take effect so I will say good night.

This is never been a good place to share even vague hints about one's background but I do find those things interesting and appreciate those with the courage to share.

I also very much appreciate those who serve in any capacity in support of any area of criminal or civil jurisprudence because it underpins all of society. It's a pretty frustrating and thankless Endeavor because at least 50% of interested parties are disappointed with every single ruling. For that reason I could never do it.

Lost in the shuffle Thursday at the Supreme Court — with the major decision released in a separation of church and state case dominating — was another ruling that could, at some point, have wide ramifications for how American government functions.

The court ruled that Congress did not overstep its authority in handing off important power to the attorney general under the federal Sex Offender Registration Act, or SORNA.

...

At issue in the case is the practice that allows federal agencies to write rules and make decisions about enforcing legislation enacted by Congress. This affects any law Congress passes, from the sex-offender statute in this case to, for example, the Affordable Care Act and on.

Those who warn about the power of the so-called administrative state, or the "deep state," often contend that Congress frequently violates the Constitution by delegating legislative power to other government agencies.
