Why are WWII naval war graves being desecrated? Most of the "salvage" operations are being done in the Pacific (or more accurately in SEA), but the Swedes, Russians & Danes are in on the "Gold Rush" of pre-1943 scrap steel.
It's an interesting rabbithole.
