Pardon the interruption, but I need to get this off my chest before I go crazy.

Long story short...my son hurt his knee last week. Seems it's worse than we thought. He calls me from school, says he can't get in touch with my husband and he needs to be picked up from school. I try and try to get ahold of him, finally calling his work and having them get a message to him to CALL ME because our son needs picked up from school and his job is much more flexible than mine. After 20 minutes and no phone call, I leave work to go pick him up. I get to the school and what do I find? My husband has already been there, not even bothering to call and let me know. Since the school is 5 minutes from our house I head straight there. I walk in and he says, "What are you doing here?" AS IF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If looks could kill he would have fallen over dead. So after going clear across town for no reason, I have to turn right back around and go back to work.

And another thing....if you're going to drive MY vehicle and listen to MY cd's it's only courteous to put them back in their cases after you're done. Don't just throw them into the cd holder. Do you have any freaking idea how hard it is to hunt for a cd while driving 75 miles an hour on the freeway? Well let me tell ya, it's much harder to do that than put on makeup while driving that fast, that's for damn sure.

I woke up this morning, came downstairs and went to find my contacts... only to find the open case with NO contacts in it. My 'dear little angels' (do you detect the sarcasm here) opened and broke them!!! No problem, I'm thinking. I mean - yes a problem, I hate wearing my glasses that don't fit well, but I can manage. I'll just order a new set off my old prescription. Well fuck! The prescription is one week too old - therefore they say I need a new exam. I am just hacked off!!!! Over $100 all for my freakin' kids..... ERRRRRRRR!

So, now I have to try and rush down there this morning, get the exam, order the lenses... come home, make cookies for my son's church group tonight.... babysit another kid at 2:30, somehow get some laundry done.... ERRRRRRRRRRR....... I just know I'm not going to have enough time for all this - and to cap off... I can't find anyone to watch my kids....

I hate my freakin' glasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww, well, it works out now. Found a sitter, so now I gotta get all 3 kids dressed, out the door in the next 15 minutes... then come home with an extra kid, make cookies, etc. YUCK!

Freakin Computer Error Messages

Why the hell do they call Windows user friendly?? I think we all know it is far from that. Hell yea it's easy if all you're going to do is push a little button and go somewhere, well most of the time that is....then a little wrench gets thrown into your spokes...you get one of those damn error messages. What the hell is so friendly about them?? Or user friendly?? You can't half understand the mesages they give you, and I swear the trouble shooters that come with Windows are sadly inadequate. So off you go to the web to search....to search using the "exact" error code you received and ya know what....you still can't find shit!! There is nothing like a good old error code to make one feel like a total imbecile!
For close to three weeks now I have been fighting Outlook Express. Everytime I tried to open it it would tell me that it had encountered a problem and needed to close. Then it gave me an option to send the error report to microsoft....what the hell for?? do they bother to send you a note to tell you what's wrong?? NO!...Anyway, I open the dialog box, find the actual error code and I search...and search....and search to no avail. Now, try to contact Microsoft...grrrrrr, there's a lesson in futility..."Is this a new computer ma'am", they ask. "Yes", I reply. "Then you'll need to call the manufacturer of said computer", answers Microsoft. Damn assholes..it's THEIR freakin program isn't it?? I finally just gave up. I was getting way too frustrated and hell...I do have my ISP's mail program. After trying to deal with my ISP's program...which SUCKS!, I decided to try one more time..so for about three hours now I have researched the damn error codes again....finally gave that shit up and decided to try to completely reset my damn Outlook Express when I happen to notice that the default dialup # set for Outlook was not the correct #. Geeeeez, can you believe this is all it was?? A damn phone number?? I swear if there was anything user friendly about Windows it would have told me this a long time ago, or at least the first damn time I started mail.
Sometimes I think I hate computers!!!
