Now, to bring this tread totally back to topic, I do wonder if those North Korean kids got something similar to the original book, and only the accompaining study material biased, or if the original lost a little bit more then mere semantics in the translation process...

Probably the latter, since setting a good book in the hands of too many people will always make a few of them think for themselves. And I mean damn, who vcan run a good dictatorship with individual thinkers running around messing things up?

I think mostly it depends on how the teacher presents it. Oh shit, I just thought of something...heaven help us when they start using Lord of the Flies.
