I confess that Cherry never ceases to amaze me and that despite all she has gone through and is going through right now, she keeps proving to me what an awesome woman she is and how strong she is.

I confess she causes me to have nothing but respect and admiration for her. i also confess that I wish I was half the woman she is, I just think she shows such strength of character and I also confess I am sending my love and support her way xxxxxxx

I confess that I am more thankful than words can say to have you by my side and that I reached out to you that day.

Ok, random confession time.

I confess that I have never been able to sit through a Star Wars movie or the Lord of the Rings trilogy and stay awake. I've tried so hard, oh I have tried! But I just can't keep my damn eyes open and stay interested enough to stay awake.

And this is coming from a self confessed geek...so...yes, I realise the astronomical effects this may have.

Star Wars is incredibly overrated and Lord of the Rings, while deserving of respect for being a pioneer for a lot of current fantasy settings, has really not aged that well.

But ummm...if you fell asleep during Revenge of the Sith, I have no pity for you...Hayden Christensen was steamy and I had to watch it over and over...just to perv!

I disagree Ahren (so not surprised these words are leaving my keyboard) Star Wars paved the way, although it isn't completely a "new" story... nevertheless, while the movie isn't all that much to scream about it is the culture it created in it's wake that made the movie what it is.. case in point.. Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It's a fluke. A bunch of nutcases just happened to be outspoken enough to turn a terrible movie into some sort of fad because it wasn't just 'bad', it transcended the plane of terrible. The fact that people worship it is not evidence of positive influence on society, but rather proof that people are idiots.

It has no connection to "nerd" culture whatsoever. If you were to go to comic-con in a Rocky Horror outfit unironically, there would be something wrong with you.
