Interrupting the regularly scheduled conversation to bring a message to @MidwestPrincess23 - I just got iOS 26 and changing the size of a picture to post is different. Maybe this will help you?

After you click Attach Files & Photo Library, there are three little dots in the bottom left corner:


That will pop up a menu & choose Options:


Then you’ll get the menu to choose photo size, and just as importantly, to turn off location embedding (at the top)
