The Cozy Corner

Oh, is gianduja not as common in the States? It's a modified blend of sugar, chocolate and almost always almonds and hazelnuts. The hazelnuts are usually toasted, ground and processed with the chocolate until it forms a soft nougat sort of texture. Melts in your mouth (or pocket if you forget).

If you've had a good quality praline or eggless nougat, it's similar to that.

Gianduja is utterly decadent and moreish for a chocolate bite. The toasted hazelnut is cozy and keeps you coming back. 😍
God, the Italians know the right way to eat! Best food I’ve ever had was in Italy!
