The Cozy Corner

You don't need a long movie. The commercials upfront give me more than enough time to milk the fun completely out of him. Chef's 💋
We must make sure you get to enjoy the movie. Would love to test that out with you. I am thinking a double feature! If once is good then twice would be better. Besides i love a long tease and we can have popcorn. We must make sure you enjoy as much or more than I do.

YES!!!!
I will say - I started making my own butter... and the buttermilk that's leftover is THE BEST buttermilk I've ever used.
just another random fun fact

BUT... I don't make enough butter to yield all the buttermilk I need for all my baking so I always have a canister of this in my fridge too - it mixes with water so you don't need to buy special milk and it lasts soooo long!

I do like the shelf stable idea of this. I just always use the 1tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice for every 1 cup of milk

I'm just wanting a good white bread to eat with butter. Something just to get past my initial fear of yeast. I was looking at this from King Arthur
That is a PERFECT one to start with!!!
my best advice is to weigh the flour - don't go by cups

Don't be scared of yeast... especially the instant stuff - make sure your water isn't *too* hot and you'll be golden!

Some will disagree but I like King Arthur. Funny, I did work for Pillsbury and other bakers on material handling and automation projects. They weighed everything. My favorite place to hang out was the test kitchen.

My sisters and I were anything but angels. Thinking about it now, I have no idea how he handled us. My mother on the other hand, blames us for her gray hair and wrinkles.
I think, sometimes anyway, that larger familie's children learn how to cope and get along and end up being better people. Look at you!

Always weigh. The scale doesn't lie no matter what my mom said. Also...yeasts are pretty much basic white girls....they like to eat and swim but not get too hot or cold.
