I've been up for just under half an hour and I'm already disappointed - not a single Waffle House in my state. Oh sure, we have a Waffle Stop but I've been to it and yeah, they have great waffles but where's the ambiance? You know what I'm saying? The little chips on the edge of tables where jaws crashed into it and teeth flew? The cracks in the walls from asses been thrown up against it? The staff that carries brass knuckles "just in case?" Sigh.

You could try Denny's, they aren't far behind in atmosphere.

You know what? This is true! There's a Denny's about 20 minutes away that always has State Patrol and/or Sheriff vehicles there. But this place is mostly a retirement haven so we just don't have the kind of clientele that would likely put on a show - unless canes and walkers start flying
